I love this! Goes on smooth for me, works superbly, no animal testing or animal ingredients and readily available! Thank you Tom’s!

I was having a hard time finding a deodorant that would last all day on me, natural and drugstore types. I ended up buying this even though it uses aluminum chlorohydrate because I was getting desperate to not be stinky at the end of the day. This product works. lasts all day, keeping me dry and odor free. I have it in the Natural Powder scent which smells just like baby powder. If I purchased this again I would go for the unscented version. I have recently switched to Crystal Essence Mineral Roll-on Deodorant and that works just as well as this, plus is aluminum free. But I would go back to this brand if I had to.

I was hunting for a cruelty-free antiperspirant, after using a combination of crystal + scented deodorant. I bought this in unscented and it works great! I don’t care for the “natural” label, because what does that even mean anyways? But for an unscented, no-frills antiperspirant that is not tested on animals, it definitely fits the bill. It is a “harder” or “less soft” texture than most deodorants/antiperspirants, so people may find it “tugs” on the skin as they apply – but really this means it goes on much thinner, and is less likely to get on your clothes and waste product. I only wish they had some better scent options.

I’ve started using natural products recently, along with becoming vegetarian. I have been searching for an antiperspirant that is natural because I sweat way too much for a deodorant to make any sort of difference. I think the other negative reviewer did not realize that this is not just a deodorant, but an antiperspirant as well. (Toms also makes an aluminum free deodorant if that is your preference).
The only thing I’m not a huge fan of is the scent. I got the natural powder scent but next time I’ll just go unscented I think. It’s not gross, it’s just… different. But this product keeps me very dry and is not too expensive so it’s definitely worth it.
EDIT: I no longer use deodorant products that contain aluminum. I find that my body is able to regulate it’s own sweat (though it took a couple weeks of being pretty sweaty in the pits for that to happen). This product may be natural but it still contains aluminum, which blocks your pores (that’s why you’re so dry) and has also been linked with Alzheimer’s.

I purchased this in unscented. The deodorant is cakey, pasty and messy. I am also disappointed to see this contains aluminum chlorohydrate. Will NOT repurchase.

There are a handful of negative reviews for this product under the listing for the old antiperspirant, but I find this is working amazingly well for me so I’d like to defend it! Since switching over to cruelty-free products, the most difficult thing to find has been an antiperspirant. I do need a proper antiperspirant with aluminum because I sweat quite a bit and hate that wet feeling. Now, when you first put this on, you will find that it tugs and does not apply as smoothly as most other deodorants, and it feels a little “sticky” at first. But, the product absorbs after a few minutes and that feeling goes away quickly, and you are just left with dry underarms all day. I’ve worn this walking around on very hot days, and while working out at the gym, and it has held up under all circumstances. I rarely have to reapply. And it goes on clear so long as you are shaved and don’t over-apply. The only other non-clinical strength antiperspirant I have used that has worked this well is Secret Flawless, which is now discontinued. The one complaint I have about this product is the limited scent range (unscented and natural powder). I have it in natural powder, which barely smells different than the unscented, and I do wish the scent was a bit stronger. When sweat does get through, it does not control odour as well as other, more scented deodorants. This is when I reapply a bit. However, this is rare enough that it’s not a deal breaker for me. I do hope they expand the scent range soon, (I’d like a crisp, fresh, “clean” scent that isn’t powdery) but will re-buy regardless because it is just what I was looking for!
