I so badly wanted to like this oil but it is not for my colored and dry hair. It actually dried out my hair. Might work for someone with oily hair.

It’s not at all to be recommended.. It’s more watery then oily? So don’t understand the purpose of this product at all. The only thing good about it is the scent of roses!

I had a high hope on this product, too bad it doesn’t deliver. I have a fine dry hair, this just make my hair coarse and frizzy. I might try heavier formula soon.
I think this would be suitable for fine normal hair who doesn’t really need taming or moisturizing.

I was not happy with the Rose incarnation of Elixir Ultime. I’ve used about 5 bottles of the original in as many years, but, I swapped this one away. It felt like a completely inferior product. You might think that it wasn’t my cup of tea since it is formulated for fine hair. and maybe it just didn’t work as well for me due to having some thick mane. I actually have the thinnest hair in the world. I thought if the original EU was fabulous, the Rose would be even better. Dilute the original or go for the Davies Oi Hair Oil. The Rose Millenaire looks and smells and performs like a cheap, 100% silicone knockoff.

Best hair oil I have ever used. Every other oil has been to heavy to use for anything other than a night time treatment which I would wash out in the morning when I showered. I have used many.,….. my hair is fine and silky, uncoloured, undamaged…. it is incredibly difficult to achieve lift or volume…. most mousses actually weigh my hair down more etc. This product is unbelievable…. as when I apply 3-4 pumps through my hair….. almost to the roots!!!! and then blow wave my hair (just flipping my head forward…. not brush or anything fancy) it actually gives my hair body and bounce! i swear- I promise- I kid you not! I don’t know how they do it! And I have used the orginal elixir from Kerastase in the gold bottle….. that was wayyyyy to heavy for me… it was relegated to night time treatment. This one is in the lavender purple bottle and is specifically for fine hair. THE BEST. But pricey. But worth budgeting for:)
