I am a die-hard fan of coral polishes. I’ve used up four bottles of China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy and I’m now on my (gasp) FIFTH bottle of Miami Peach. It’s so gorgeous and if you do a base coat, two-three coats of this, and a top coat, it will not chip or peel. Excellent quality but slightly pricy.

When I first bought this a few years ago, I thought it was so original and absolutely loved it. This was at the time when brands were branching out from the safe colours (I.e reds and pinks) and trying to be creative. However, now with all the choices that we have, this seems a bit outdated and dull. The colour is more of orangey-coral with subtle fine gold shimmer. It’s not that vibrant though and even with two coats, it’s a little sheer. This probably needs 3 coats for full opacity but I can’t be bothered to do 3 coats ever as its too much effort for me! It’s Chanel of course so it’s more expensive that other nail polishes but their polishes generally last quite well on me. I have bought another colour recently that is similar but much better – Models Own tropical sun is a much more vibrant, glossy version of this and I absolutely love it. Of course, it’s a lot cheaper too.
All in all, this was probably good for its time but now, there are better and cheaper versions that I would go for.

Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour #203 Miami Peach – 13 ml / 0.4 FL.OZ.
There is nothing like a fabulous peach nail polish. This is the kind of colour that makes you run back to the store and get five more, hoping they won’t discontinue. The soft peachy/coral contains a subtile gold shimmer. It is just lovely. Since I’m in love with this polish I’ll will make an extra effort in being honest in reviewing this product.
The lacque requires a minimum of 2 layers until it shows its full opacity and (subtile) shimmer. When applying it with base and top coat, in my experience the polish survives for 4-5 days before showing slight damage. The polish flows (maybe too) easily and the brush is pretty convenient in application. Polish stays of good quality over the course of weeks and months. Doesn’t transform into a some sort of sirop (which is always good).
Chanel products have and will always come at a cost. If you were to spend this amount of money, i recommend you spend it on one of their outstanding colours, like this one.
I have bought it again, I will buy it again and I highly recommend this cute and just lovely polish.

I am a nail polish freak but until now had never tried Chanel polishes. I bought Miami Peach on a whim in the duty free store at San Francisco airport. I was tempted by several others, namely the bold pinks e.g. Rose shades but Miami Peach looked so cute and unusual. I felt the pinks could be found in other, better value brands.
After having worn Miami Peach for some 5 days I am very impressed. The polish is glossy and has lasted well. There was a little tip wear, but nothing major. A tiny chip on my thumb because my nails are a bit weak atm. I used Nail Magic as a base, 3 coats of Miami Peach and a generic clear top coat from Whole Foods.
Likes:
– So so glossy
– Nice formula. Smooth, dries well, easy to work with
– Colour is very pretty. Not too bright but makes your hands like polished and elegant.
– Received compliments on my nails when shopping
Dislikes
– After 3 coats can still see nail tip slightly
I clicked yes to buy again, but in reality I have so many nail polishes I don’t know if I would.

Although the shade was not to my taste, can certainly see how for others this would undoubtedly represent a summer stunner. With either one or two coats the result is an impressive brightening, light, shimmery coral.

This is my HG coral. It is, without a doubt, the most beautiful polish I own. It’s a perfect blend of peach and light pink, with just the merest hint of juicy orange. This is itself is lovely, but what really sets this coral five paces ahead of every other coral I’ve ever tried (and I’ve tried a LOT) is the beautiful gold flaky bits that sparkle and shine. It is a sheer-jelly finish, which I LOVE (I’m not a big fan of cream-finish corals), and seeing the gold sparkles glimmer underneath the jelly finish in various layers adds a touch of whimsy to it.

Amazing color, amazing durability, amazing quality!
the golden shimmer makes it perfect! I used it almost nonstop last summer, and it is just perfect!
The only downside is, because it so sheer (and I know it is supposed to be that sheer), to obtain the full color that I love, I need about 3/4 coats. But that’s ok with me, because the result is absolutely dreamy!

Colour in bottle – A perfect almost guava coloured pink with a soft gold shimmer.
Colour on nail – Ok still pretty, 1st coat very sheer, 2nd coat you start to notice the colour more, no streaking. However, I did not think that 2 coats was enough as I like a solid shiny look to my nails and to achieve this with this nail polish I have done 3-4 coats. This sounds excessive but 3 coats would probably suffice for most.
What I did notice and wasnt that happy with was two things, namely that although I used base and a top coat it didnt seem to last as long as I expected, in that it lifted from the edges after 3 days. The other point I would like to raise is that the shimmer doesnt give a smooth polished effect and that it seemed to be a bit lumpy (not a good word but can’t describe it). It wasnt badly so just I noticed it. I have tried a couple of options to reduce the lumpy look, I borrowed my friends Chanel base and top coat and this seemed to work much better so maybe the Chanel products are formulated to support eachother better to avoid any imperfections.
In general I would say this is a perfect summer colour and is light, breezy and fun. It does pop in colour if you have a slight tan, the gold shimmer really stands out and it is quite lovely. Pricey polish but otherwise I am very happy.
