Great product, great wearing lipstick stays moist and for a pinkish red it doesn’t bleed.
BUT I really don’t like the heavy case which is totally unnecessary. I also wish that we could buy the refills here in Canada instead of having to buy the whole heavy case again.
The case is over priced!!!! I do love the lipstick but it’s not worth the money at all.

Oh this really is a lovely lipstick and the packaging ultra luxe with the built in mirror – even the most “uninterested in make-up Engineering hubby” commented on the designing that went into this case.
Case aside this is a lovely bright raspberry pink – when worn on its own it is a dark pink, the formula is very smooth and creamy so the lipstick feels moisturising on and lasts for hours before needing to be touched up. Does need a top up after food and drink.
As my skin tone is NC15 and more pale I sometimes find this a tad too dark on its own so love to layer this over a lighter lipstick with a brush for a more muted raspberry pink look that is so pretty. My current favourite look is this Gigi layered over Angel by Mac.
This is a great pop of colour for a night out and makes a good alternative to a bright red lip. I would love to repurchase but I have come to my make-up senses and do see it is criminal to pay this much for a lipstick when I have so many more already in my collection.

Only got this for the luxe packaging. It is so much fun to have. Lipstick formula is nice and light yet creamy. Long-lasting…ish. Colour is bright and fun, but you can find this shade at any price point. Nothing bad to say about the product except that it’s really the packaging you are paying for, not the lipstick itself. The lipstick is good, but by no means worth $55+ CAD. i like the over-the-top packaging. It looks kinda rusted/oxidized, though.

I used to think all of the Guerlain lipsticks were just shiny, expensively packaged pieces of hype! But from what I’ve been reading on the internet, the money you pay goes toward the quality of the actual product too stangely enough. I originally wnet to a department store to buy the Guerlain KissKiss Lip Lift which I did try in the store and was quite nice and reliable but instead I left with just the one Rouge G in Gigi, which is dark yet bright, but not neon, raspberry pink.
Gigi matches the MAC Beet lip pencil that I also have exactl, to the T in fact which was the best reason for me to buy Gigi. I’ve wanted a lipstick to match that lip pencil for quite a while and MAC no longer makes any lipsticks that match the MAC Beet lip pencil at all anymore, although MAC used to supposedly in the form of a MAC Retro Matte collection called Moxie and possibly one of the original Mattene lipsticks called Rapturous.
I wear Gigi all over my lips of course but I fill in my lips totally with the lip pencil first and it wears for quite a while. It takes a huge messy, greasy meal to take off all of this lipstick. Rouge G is great for anyone who wants opaque but shiny lipstick, and who also likes wearing gloss over their lipstick a lot but without the extra steps of doing so.
And best of all Rouge G, never once appeared to dry my lips at all throughout the entire day. Not. Once. (!)
