This is my day to day Sunscreen for the body as I run about going in and out of the car. I was recommended this by the dermatologist and so this is what I use. It is moisturizing as previously stated and it does the job of protecting me from the Sun. I also use the Eucerin Daily Protection SPF 30 for the face. These are not sweat proof but they are great products. I use Coppertone Sport SPF 30 or 50 for when I know I am going to be directly out in the Sun for a long time. I am completely satisfied with Eucerin Daily Protetion SPF 15. It maybe better for normal to dry skin though as when I sweat it does tend to run a bit so those with oily skin may have some issues.

I love this sunscreen,I wanted to try this since most Eucerin products are good. Upon application it sunk into my skin and made my skin soft.I always like a sunscreen lotion, the added benefit of moisture. I like neutrogena’s ultra sheer but it has such a sunscreen smell and doesn’t
moisturize as much as this.If u have normal to dry skin I’d give this a try.

I bought Eucerin Daily Protection in the US when looking for a body moisturiser with some spf in it, just for daily regular sun exposure.
I was surprised to find that Eucerin in the US had similar prices to Nivea and other such brands. In Europe we find Nivea in supermarkets and Eucerin only in pharmacies, at a much higher price. The choice was obvious.
It is well formulated with very moisturising ingredients – glycerin, shea butter, urea – and mineral oil free! Uncommon in a body lotion.
Even not being intended for that, I ended up using it while sunbathing. When applied frequently as recommended, it proved to be enough for Vegas and Palm Springs. And I am very pale! The key is to reapply.
The packaging is good and practical, but not travel friendly, meant to stay at home.
Of course it smells like sunscreen, girls, it IS a sunscreen with no added fragrances!

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT! As someone who has pretty dry skin, I’ve come to appreciate what a good moisturizer can do for a person’s comfort and appearance. However, Eucerin “Daily Protection” is EVIL! It contains a “broad spectrum” sunscreen that indelibly stained some of my favorite shirts with an orange cast that made them look like they had been worn by a spray tan junkie! I have written the Eucerin company to complain about their foul product but as yet have received no response. So, gentle reader, consider yourself warned!

I’ve been using a Vaseline version of a daily SPF lotion for several years, but it seems to have been discontinued, so I tried this (Target had a couple other options – an Aveeno and a Lubriderm – with SPF 15, but this had the largest amount for the price).
I was spectacularly unimpressed. The sunscreen-y smell I could deal with, but it never seemed to sink into my skin, leaving me slightly greasy the whole day. Worse, about mid-afternoon I’d get stressed and rub the back of my neck, to discover that the lotion had started to pill in big, ugly clumps.
Ew. Not sure how this one passed the quality assurance tests.

I generally like this product. It’s lightweight, the packaging works (good pump). However, I cannot get over the smell. It’s suppose to be fragrance free, but the smell of sunscreen is so strong with this that I hardly ever want to put it on. Sorry Eucerin, not a fan.
This is good for small amounts on the face. Definitely not overpowering there, but for that I’d rather just use their SPF 30 version.

I haven’t fully tested this out yet. I’m going to use it on my face. I hate paying $10+ for a face lotion that just doesn’t work. Also this was right next to the face version (Daily Protection SPF 50) and that bottle was tiny (I think it was 3.5-4oz) for almost $7. This is a similar product but with 13.5oz. If I can get away with this then I’m sold!
As for the “fragrance free” part yes it is but it does smell. “Fragrance free” typically means it’s not going to smell like your grandmother or fruity. That’s it. They don’t remove all smells from the lotion. Now if this is an issue for you please for the love of everything twist off the cap (don’t open the pump) and SMELL your lotion. It’s only your fault after that that you decided to buy a “smelly” lotion.
As for the lotion itself, it’s good. I’ve had that greasy sunscreen feeling and this isn’t that. On my hands it is silky, not sticky, not greasy, and I like it so far. I will update this review after I use it on my face since I’m very acne prone.

I’ve said in another review before, I never go out unless I have SPF15 body lotion on. I decided to give this one a try (I normally use Vaseline).

The lotion claims to be “fragrance free” but there is a very obvious and not pleasant fragrance. The scent might not bother some, but I personally am not a fan. It smells like an attempt to keep the scent downplayed but it has a “medicated/sunscreen” smell to it. I might not mind as much if the scent faded after a while, but I will still be able to smell it at the end of the day. The lotion is also extremely greasy, like a typical sunscreen. As far as the actual moisturizing effects, it does not feel like it sinks in all that well; it does not have the best moisturizing effects.

I do realize that this is a SUNSCREEN lotion.. Therefore it is definitely going to carry some of those aspects, but I have tried one other similar product by Vaseline and it does not have these issues. I will not be buying again, though unfortunately.
