Please note that this #539 Trafalgar (I was told this is the Asian Version) is DIFFERENT from the #844 Trafalfar (US version), I bought the #539 not aware that there are 2 versions and all along thinking I am purchasing the #844 US version. Anyway, when I discovered the difference, I just thought OK maybe I tried this one since it look nice in the tube. I wrote this review so that my fellow members here will be aware of the difference.
It is a light coral, swatch shows beautifully sweet colour, however, when applied to the lips, it is sheer with disappointing pigmentation, it highlights the dryness on the lips, so you need to exfoliate well, when applied to the lips without lip balm, pigmentation is not consistent, even with two coating, you could still see the colour of your own lips, even worse if you apply a thin film of lip balm prior to this. The colour cant seem to stay put and slips, very disappointing considering the price.
I found that all light colour lipsticks from the Dior’s Voluptuous line has the same problem, they all have poor pigmentation and apply unvenly.
Overall, a very disappointing product!
