Pros:
– average cost performance
– water and sweat resistant, great for humid summers
– cooling/tingling feel on application (from menthol)
– skin drying effect (from talc powder); skin feels velvety to touch afterwards
– high SPF with mixed physical and chemical filters
– it’s hard to describe the smell; it is soapy but at the same time not what I expected
– also comes in Peach Cooler and Splash Marine fragrance (I personally liked this one because it’s quite gender neutral)
– has a definite “something on my face” feeling on application but passes after a few seconds
– no white cast or shiny skin
– more similar to Mentholatum’s Sun Bears range than Biore’s Watery Essence to those familiar with them
– didn’t break me out even though I’m usually sensitive to fragrance
Cons:
– small quantity; use this for your face instead of your whole body
– high alcohol content means stay away if you’re sensitive to alcohol
– be careful putting it around your eyes because of the menthol
– I don’t have dry skin and it’s very humid here, but it doesn’t feel like it would be good for people with dry skin/live in places with dry heat
– I prefer sunscreens with a moisturizing feeling so I’ll probably pass on this in the future
