I bought a travel sized sample of this after reading some great reviews.
This is a pretty good shampoo regardless of whether it thickens or not. My hair is fine, thinning, and color treated, and gets very greasy fast. I have to wash my hair every day or else it is a greasy mess, and even dry shampoos can’t do any good when it is at this stage.
This shampoo has a faint fragrance, but smells really great and is a pleasure to use. It foams up well and leaves my hair and scalp feeling very clean. It doesn’t strip my hair but it cleans better than a lot of shampoos I have tried and doesn’t leave my ends frizzy or dry. My hair takes longer to get greasy too, which is a great bonus. After washing my hair on a night, by the afternoon of the next day normally it is looking pretty bad. But this shampoo gives me an extra 3-4 hours before my hair starts looking like it needs a wash.
This does give me a little additional volume at the roots, but only if I don’t use a conditioner afterwards. I like this shampoo a lot and will buy a full size of this when I run out.

I got a deluxe sample of this shampoo and it lasted me nearly 6 weeks. Only needed a dime size amount to shampoo my shoulder-length hair (it is straight, fine, color treated hair).
It smelled great, and the bottle itself is quite small for the full size, but I think based off my experience it would last a long time.

Yes this works GREAT for the plumping and thickening effect. However it is USELESS when it is paired with the plump n thick thickening creme. You can feel this stuff working in the shower, your strands start to expand a little and feel a little coarser like the hair shaft is swelling. Pretty neat, but like I said with the creme, its not as full or nice, but the caveat is, if you don’t use a conditioner, your is kinda tangly and knarly when you use this shampoo alone. Not sure about the work around, it seems like any conditioner your use just will way your just thickened hair…so yeah. Hmm…

I have tried it all! Blandi, Fekkai, Ojon, Frieda, L’Oreal, Suave, etc. This shampoo topped my Graham Webb Shampoo. I have fine black hair and fair skin so my scalp shows through and I hate that. This shampoo makes my hair plump, thick, and manageable. I have been using this shampoo for about a year now and will continue buying this product.

I got this from the shopping channel in canada.
It works! Can’t knock that. It volumizes, and has an OK smell that doesn’t linger. My hair is manageable after and takes well to other products.
The downside is that after prolonged use (a month) i would have pretty frizzy and dried out hair. I suggest using this as a rotational product.

Awesome Shampoo! It gives you a bouncy volume, megawatt shine, and your hair just has a very clean feel. I don’t dry my hair with a blowdryer and this stuff leaves it so volumized and manageable. The shine is off the charts and this isnt even a shine shampoo. I really love the feel of my hair with is, I feel like I just have great hair. Will definitely buy again!

This shampoo smells great and works well on my thin hair. I purchased a small bottle at Ulta to see if I like it and will be going back to purchase the full size.

I like a lot of Nick Chavez products ( especially the Amazon Infinity Mist). This shampoo did not really do much for my fine hair. For me, it performed as well any drugstore shampoo so I cannot justify paying $ 20 for 8 oz of product.

I got this as a sample in a swap and I have to say I’m really impressed! I didn’t think it would do much at all on my fine, limp hair but I totally saw a difference!! I would like to get a full sized bottle and use on a continuous basis.

This is a good daily shampoo that leaves hair soft and with volume without drying it out. Great subtle color, wonderful lather and leaves hair full and shiny – especially if you combine this daily with the thick ‘n plump leave in conditioner (although you may need to use clarifying shampoo once a week). I am definitely going to keep this in my shampoo rotation.
