Lancome’s eyeshadow has no color saturation. It leave my skin vaguely shimmery, that’s about it. It has a lot of fallout for something that barely shows on my lids. Utter garbage, especially when you factor in the high price. I have purchased better eye shadow form the drug store.

This has literally sat in my makeup drawer being neglected for quite a while. I was just going through eye shadows pondering what look I’ll do for new years eve. I paired this palette with Urban Decay Half Baked, oh my gosh it’s so pretty!! I absolutely love the colours, they have great payoff and just look fantastic. Definitely going to use this little gem over the holidays!!

This product is really high quality, so I guess you get what you paid for…I got it as a sample from my mom’s lancome purchase. If you layer the colors once or twice, you get a very neutral color and if you layer it more you can get the heavy smokey eye look. I really like this shadow because it doesn’t crease very easily. I used the ELF primer (which is cheap) and I wear this shadow for over 6 hours and it hasn’t creased at all. Plus I have very oily eye lids and I have asian lids (so it folds more). This is a really great product, the only downfall is the price. Its over $40 so a big maybe to repurchasing.

I liked this shadow kit, but found I was only using one of the colors. One is too dark; another too light. I use the one in-between of course, so it feels like a waste of money to keep buying the whole mini-palette. The shadow itself is nice and matte, which I like and glides on easily, but I can’t say it’s better than many of the others I’ve tried, so for the price, I’ll go with something else.

It’s been years since I received this as a gift with a Lancome purchase. At first, I thought that the colors were too dark for me – I was just getting into makeup and wasn’t sure how to apply eye shadow. Today, the three lightest colors are entirely gone and I’m still using the darkest brown as a liner. I would purchase this palette again but haven’t been able to find it. The eyes shadows wear well and stay put all day with primer. Over the years, I’ve used different primers and all worked well with this set of eye shadows. Awesome product and a great set of colors.
