I also reviewed the shampoo and I really love this combo. Long, color-treated, wavy hair that isn’t super damaged but tends to be dry. This conditioner is not super thick but the shampoo is so gentle and moisturizing on its own, the conditioner is a perfect match. I don’t feel that it weighs my hair down at all — in fact I think my waves look even better when I use this. Shiny, soft, bouncy. Every once in a while I get curious about more expensive, or natural/organic, trendier brands. I have been using this for 2 years and all the other brands I have tried — Shea Moisture, Aveda, Matrix, Dove, Neutrogena, LUSH, etc — just do not stack up. Some have worked well but the value of this product is unbeatable. A huge 32oz bottle is around $4 and it will last me a year. Paying $20 for a bottle of Biolage Hydrasource feels so silly now that I know that Tresemme is out there.

This review is for the new formula of moisture rich with vitamin e. I didn’t use the former vitamin e conditioner, but from what I read online, another company bought TRESemme and changed the formula.
My hair is thick, coarse and prone to dryness in its natural state. Now add to that I have heavy highlights and use a blowdryer and flat iron on my hair. Needless to say, my hair gets thirsty. I had been using Blonde Idol Mask by Redken as a daily conditioner, but when I ran out, wanted to find a less expensive conditioner to use on a daily basis. I still use Blonde Idol Mask, but only once a week, or once every other week, for intense conditioning.
While at the grocery, noticed this 32 oz conditioner on the shelf for $3.79. Liked the price, and when I saw the “for dry or damaged hair” on the bottle, grabbed it up.
Consistency of conditioner is thick and creamy. It feels luxurious, as the name says, while running it through my hair with my fingers. I can feel my hair soften when it’s in my hair. After blowdrying my hair, it looks and feels soooo soft, shiny and hydrated, and color of highlights and lowlights not affected or altered using this conditioner. This works as well, if not better, than a lot of salon products I have used.
Want to stress this conditioner moisturizes hair, doesn’t coat hair. This is one good, affordable conditioner.
