Reviewing this product because I was surprised that it has been discontinued from the Victoria’s Secret body collection… then not so surprised when I saw that only one person on this entire site has reviewed it. I sort of wish I’d stocked up on a couple of more of these before I learned that they’re no longer being made.
This Victoria’s Secret PINK Luminous Body butter came in all the PINK fragrances… I have mine in the Warm & Cozy scent, which is described as Toasted Vanilla & Peony. I can smell the vanilla and floral notes… it is a very warm scent, as the name and notes would suggest.
The price for VS Pink Body Products is $18, or 2/$25, or 3/$30. The packaging on this one in particular is very aesthetically pleasing, and sturdy… the silver lid is extremely nice.
The body butter itself is very thick and moisturizing, and the scent lasts all day. The most stand-out thing about this product is the fact that it is extremely shimmery. I mean like, when I put it on and sit on my leather couch before the lotion has completely absorbed, there is gold glitter and shimmer left all over the couch (it’s easily removed with a damp cloth.) My skin glistens and glows even in the shade. The shimmer factor seems like it would be something people either love or hate and I for one loved it.
Hopefully I can find a product that is similar to replace the one I’m about to use up because I have never seen a body BUTTER (not lotion) with shimmer concept before other than this one.

I had previously used the luminous body butter in Fresh & Clean, which was my favorite scent, but has been discontinued. 😞
I recently purchased the “Sun Kissed” and “Hot Crush” The fragrance in both of them is pretty nice….(perhaps not quite my style, but they are still appealing.) The main reason I keep going back to this product, regardless of the ‘flavor’, is the subtle shimmer it leaves on your skin. It is just beautiful! Luminous is just the word for it, as it is not glittery or tacky looking…And it really adds a pretty glow to your skin.
Not to mention, it has some quality ingredients, such as Shea & Cocoa butter, and sweet almond oil.
I’d def. recommend this body butter!👍
