I’ve really enjoyed the Drybar products that I’ve tried, so when I needed a new brush, and saw that this was only $16, I added it to a March Sephora order. When it arrived, I saw how compact and light it was, and decided to stick it in my carry-on and use it as my travel brush. I’ve been traveling a lot lately, but although I’ve gotten a lot of use out of this brush, I expected it to last more than six months. Now the bristles in the center of the brush have started collapsing into the cushion, and I have to pull them out every time I want to use the brush. Not very efficient. And, it’s clear from the Sephora reviews that I’m not the only customer with this problem.
I like the size and heft of the Lemon Drop Daily Detangler and the soft-touch handle feels good to hold, but if this brush is any indication of Drybar’s commitment to quality, it doesn’t bode well for the rest of the their styling tools. I mean, I love the Detox Dry Shampoo and Money Maker Hairspray, but how hard is it to make a decent hairbrush? I could’ve picked up something better at CVS.
