Very pigmented, easy to apply brush. I have both rosewater and guava, and they show up nicely on my tan skin. The blush are petite, and very cute looking. One cost around $22, so think it through if you wish to purchase this for yourselves!

I purchased a set from QVC which had this blush in it, in the color Rosewater. This is scarily bright in the pan but does apply very sheer. The color is a pretty raspberry pink with a hint of sparkle.
I have to apply a couple of layers to get this to show up on my NC15 skin, which I didn’t expect from such a brightly colored blush.
I got this in a kit so I didn’t have a choice of colors, but I have seen that Laura Geller has brought out several more shades in this range which I am excited to try.
I do think that the plastic packaging looks cheap, and would have preferred this to be in the regular Laura Geller blush packaging (which is still not luxurious but is sturdier.) It is a very pretty color though, and nice for everyday wear, but it isn’t anything that I would consider a HG.

While this is a beautiful blush and a unique product, I’m not sure that I’m completely in love with it.
I’m assuming that this is a newer line of products, the Baked Gelato Swirl ones; I haven’t seen them on the shelves, I’ve only been able to get them through a set. I love trying new variations of a line, so I was pleased to see this deviation from Laura Geller’s line of classic, baked products. Oh, I own one of these blushes in Rosewater.
Rosewater is a very beautiful, romantic color. For reference, picture NARS Super Orgasm; the base color is just a tad more cool pink, and the shimmer, though finer, creates a similarly noticeable effect on the face. The color is on the lighter side, so you won’t get an overwhelming punch of pink on your cheeks.
The pigmentation and application, unfortunately, is underwhelming. This is such a pressed product- I cannot accurately describe exactly how pressed it is, it is so pressed- that it is the biggest pain to attempt to pick up product with my brush. I use a designated blush brush, and I found that it requires some formidable force just to pick up some color. I need about 4 separate tries to get a solid layer of light color on my cheeks. The color itself– as aforementioned, it is on the lighter side, so it shows up even lighter on the cheeks. Pair that with the arbitrary application requirements and voila! you have a product which does not create much of an impact. If you’re not the most comfortable with powder blushes because they’re hard to evenly apply, then this is a good one; you really can’t go and overload on this blush.
You can see the shimmer quite prominently in good lighting; it gets everywhere, actually. Your cheeks will get a thorough coat of fine, luminous shimmer. It’s up to you to decide whether or not you’d like that or not.
As for staying power, it does its job. It won’t rub off unless you put some arm into it. It cooperates with my foundations, and it usually remains at the mercy of my powder. The shimmer stays in place, that’s for certain. The color itself is usually too light to really notice if you’ve rubbed a bit off.
I’m not sure of the pricing of this blush. Its packaging is different than usual Laura Geller collections; you have a classic shiny plastic container with a clear domed top rather than the matte disc that the brand is known to market. Although I haven’t discussed too many good things about this blush, don’t mistake them for dislike; Rosewater gives you the sweetest little hint of color on your cheeks, and it’s incredibly versatile and flattering. I can live with the slight drawbacks. I’d recommend it!

As much as I love Laura Geller, this attempt to branch out with a newly formulated eyeshadow has noticeable flaws.
I own the eyeshadow in Caramel, and, from what I’ve seen, that’s probably the only existing color out there. The Baked Gelato Vivid Swirl collection seems to be very restricted, in general, only to blushes- and this one eyeshadow single. Caramel, completely unrelated to its name, is a diluted, gilded golden color. I don’t see any hint of the warm brown that would characterize caramel. In truth, this is a light gold eyeshadow. The color does not pack much of a punch; its pigmentation is actually pathetically weak. However, it gives off a beautiful, but not very noticeable, metallic shimmer. Coupled with the natural tendency of a light color to have less of an impact on the eyes, this eyeshadow does not like cooperating with neither my brushes nor my eyelids– and especially not with other eyeshadows. It’s quite chalky and prone to fallout upon application, and not very blendable; it just becomes stubborn and refuses to budge.
Application of it is quite a pain; the Baked Gelato Vivid Swirl products are so incredibly pressed that even picking up product is quite an obstacle. I’ve resorted to using a stiff eyeshadow brush, and even then, Caramel maintains its hold on itself. As aforementioned, you can’t do much with it except apply it as a lid color, since it barely cooperates with other products.
As for staying power, I think it’s decent. The finely milled texture allows it to set itself quite nicely, and I don’t see any fallout or creasing or smudging or fading- with a good primer, that is.
For the packaging, I’m less than dazzled- it’s a rather cheap, shiny plastic base with a clear dome. It simply feels cheap. I’m not sure of the price for one of these shadows, since I haven’t seen them sold apart from a Laura Geller set, but I’m sure that it would go somewhere between $14 and $18. I don’t exactly love this eyeshadow- I will continue to use it, but it has left a less than ideal impression, based on its performance. I wouldn’t repurchase it.
