When I first applied this polish, I wasn’t all that impressed. The finish looked quite frosty instead of shimmery, and the formula was weird (first coat dragged horribly, second was better but it bubbled at the tips of my nails). After putting on top coat and letting it dry though the frosty-ness settled down and I really liked it. This is a great color for fall and I love shades like this. I might have given this a 4 if it weren’t for the fact that it was chipping significantly after just three days. That’s disappointing to me and I expect better from OPI. I don’t regret buying it but I’m glad I got it at half price instead of full.

I am kind of on the fence about this one… it looks like shimmery molten copper in the bottle. Because of my Asian yellow toned skin, I wasn’t sure if it would look good, hence why I stay with pastel/pale pink colour, rarely ever got bronze coloured polishes. It takes about 2 coats to get bottle colour, and staying power is not bad. The effect on my fingers was interesting, it looks okay by itself, maybe a little warm for my skin, but I guess it would look good under the black shatter.

If MAC’s Indianwood paint pot was in nail polish form, it would be this color. Brisbane Bronze is a beautiful shimmery bronze color with an orange toned base. Its opaque in color after the second coat. Its great for the summer, I love wearing this color on my finger nails! Its a good, basic color that I can throw on and it’ll go with any outfit. If you’re looking for a new summer polish check this baby out!

I bought this product at the beginning of summer and wore it on my toenails and it looked great! I was actually asked what the name of the polish was a few times as the bronze color is really eye-catching. I plan on wearing it again in the near future and highly recommend it for any skin tone.

Brisbane Bronze is such a pretty color! When I first bought this I loved it. Until I put it on. I’m Chinese, and my skin is fairly yellow toned. This color looked terrible on my skin! I put it away and didn’t use it for the longest time. Last week, I decided to try it again as I think it would be a gorgeous color for fall. Still didn’t look great on my nails, but I love it on my toes! I kept staring at them and saying to my sister “look at my toes! Don’t they look like pennies?” So even though I initially hated it, I’m so glad I bought it!

This is the only polish that I own from the Spring Summer 2007 OPI Australia Collection. It is exactly the colour I expected it to be. A warm bronze.
I liked this on my nails but strangely enough not so much on my feet (my feet always seem to be more tan than my hands and so the colour did not “pop” or provide much of a contrast) If I want to paint my toes brown again I will choose a darker more chocolate brown.
I think this colour is best for the summer, for winter I think it is too “sun kissed” looking but I do have a cute animal print dress that this looks fantastic with (as it brings out the different browns in the dress)
When I was a teenager and first got into make up my friends and I used to order a bronzer from Avon called “Arabian Glow” (I am in the UK. I do not know if they still make this and I would never buy Avon now) but the colour of this nail polish strongly reminds me of the Arabian Glow packing. This is not a bad thing, I quite like the colour but I can’t look at the bottle without thinking of cheap make up that I used to wear at school (LOL).
Not sure I love this enough to buy it again. I would rate this as 3

Love the colour it is beautiful, a great copper shade that’s not too brown or too orangey just the right balance with a shimmer/frost finish to it (sorry for my poor description haha). Applies like a dream and is perfect in 2 coats and dries quick. The rating of 3 is because I cannot get it to last!! It chips almost immediately on me no matter what I do, every variety of basecoat and topcoat I had would still not get more than a day out of this, it even chipped right in the center of the nail not just the tips. So I am giving it a 3 and putting that I would not repurchase. If you can get it to last or you have no issue repainting your nails everyday then pick it up it’s a great shade.

gorgeous color, kind of the shade of a penny. love!

This is a very pretty bronze color with a nice sheen to it – easy to apply and attractive with my fair skin tone; although I think it would flatter a darker skin tone as well. I think it can be appropriate for winter or summer wear and has a metallic appearance that is somewhat fashionable now but even if it weren’t would be a choice for me! Recommend this for a fall/winder lift! Very eye catching color!

It’s ok, the color is pretty, reminds me of a new penny, with a softer brown sheen. The formulation seems a bit gloppy, but it may be due to the bottle being a mini. It seems to smear easily and dry slowly, and requires a lot of coats to dry opaque. It also leaves a darker line around the cuticle, looking almost dirty. It’s a pretty fall color, really lovely, but the formula seems off and it’s not worth buying to find out if a full size would be better.
