One of the mildest, most moisturizing soaps I´ve ever tried! It´s unscented, which is a plus for me, because it means less irritants, and my boyfriend doesn´t mind using it too. Will definitely repurchase. Fulfills all those promises that for example Dove makes about their soaps and doesn´t keep. Just great!

I have normal skin but for some reason i always breaked out… then I tried this soap which i found at my local Sears for 8 dollars pretty cheap compared to the prices of other cleansers i’ve bought in the past which have been amazingly expensive… and out of ALL i’ve used this is the ONLY thing that has COMPLETELY gotten rid of my acne… I still have to use it only once a day because it’s strong but I have no ACNE and for that I”m amazingly grateful… now i can wear less makeup and even if i want NO makeup AT ALL!!!!… Very pleased

Since my favorite Spa Cosmetics dead sea salt soap with aloe is impossible to find now I tried this. The scent is too strong, my skin became very irritated and red and it became dry with a waxy like shiny residue left on my skin. I will look elsewhere.

Got this at TJ Maxx for $4. Not sure if this is meant for the face. I use it in the morning on my acne, oily skin and my skin feels smooth and clean. not tight or dry at all. and when i use my toner, the cotton ball is clean! i also tried it on my body and i hate bar soaps but my skin felt good. I usually use dial almond milk body wash and this made my skin feel the same. Good deal if you get it cheap! my skin is looking better. only time will tell!
UPDATE: Made my skin red, not too sure what that is all about so i don’t use it anymore.

It works like a basic soap. Rather drying, but gives that squeaky clean feeling. I have slightly sensitive skin and after 2 weeks of using this soap, the dry skin toner, and the smoothing lotion I developed irritation. Redness and a burn-y feeling. Spend your 7 bucks elsewhere, i’d say.

I was pleasantly surprised to find Ahava products again at the local drugstore after so many years. I bought the mineral salt soap, since I have never tried it before and the fact that the packaging says it is for all skin types. I used it for 3 nights thus far and it is amazing like the glycerine and mud soaps. I used the glycerine one for the winter months w/out any problems, but wanted something not as moisturizing, yet not drying (the mud soap is great for the summer months, here in Canada-but in winter- only occasionly), so I figured this soap would do the trick. It left my skin glowing b/c of the heavy concentration of dead sea salts. My skin is healthy and not taut or too oily. I still use a moisturizer at night after this soap and in the morning my skin is smooth and balanced. In the morning I use Dove soap and alternate between the two since the Ahava soap gets rid of all my makeup, oil, etc. I also had a couple of blemishes on my forehead and this soap helped them come to a head, rather than irritate them. Love Ahava soaps! Definite repurchase. Just wish they were available in more places.UPDATE: This bar is totally awesome and its not as hard as the other ones (mud bar and glycerine bar)-it’s softer and lathers up really well, but goes faster. I no longer use a toner aftyer using this, because I find this tones my skin perfectly. It also helped some scars fade. Like the purifying mud soap(which I also adore, as well as Dove’s soap), it leaves my skin nice and matte, but not dry or taut, so by the afternoon, I don’t have oil slicks or any of that annoying jazz. IMO, it has excellent exfoliating qualities w/out being too harsh, grainy, etc.UPDATE: I knocked off 2 lippies because this soap made my face red after a while, ditto with the salt soap and glycerine soap from Ahava. My skin has become so sensitised since using the retin-a gel, even peppermint floral water stings when i apply it on my face, which it never used to do! Woah that retin-a is awesome but it is uber potent!
