I love this body butter! This is a new seasonal body butter from The Body Shop. The formula is just like the other body butters- a tub of thick cream, slightly stiff like butter, a glob on the finger will hold its shape. The mojito scent is fantastic, and very fresh. It smells like a mix of lime, mint, and sugar, just like the drink. It’s actually a sort of complicated scent, and it takes my nose a bit of time to figure out what’s going on. I find that when I put this on my legs the scent becomes noticeably more herbal. On my hands it stays exactly like it smells in the tub. That’s odd, but it still smells good. The only reason I gave this four instead of five lippies is that I really wish The Body Shop made their body butter more moisturizing. This is their intensive moisturizer, and it’s not necessarily enough for my dry legs in the depths of winter. Other times of year it’s great.

I am beyond inlove with this product it smells amazing and leave my skin feeling super soft as i’ve dry skin it adds some hydration to it without leaving the skin super sticky like most hydrating body butters. I find this scent smells beautiful and tropical without been to over powering. It also cools the skin down this product is especially good if you live in a hot country unfortunately i don’t so i have no need for the cooling factor but it’s a nice bonus i will definitely be taking this away with me next time i go on vaction. The one thing i wasn’t so pleased about was the price $20 for a body butter did seem extreme but i didn’t expect any less from the body shop it is a lovely product and i will be repurchasing it again.

The Virgin Mojito line is limited edition for summer 2015. Contains shower gel, body splash, body scrub, body butter and body sorbet.
The butter comes in the standard Body Shop packaging in lime green and smells like lime and sweet mint – when smelling the butter itself that is. The thing is my skin does unspeakable things to it because it smells like fish and herbs after application and no, I’m not exaggerating.
Consistency is quite thick so takes a while to spread but isn’t oily at all while providing decent moisture.
It’s a fun product to try but beware of the scent. Needless to say, I wouldn’t repurchase.
