   I have tried multiple stripless waxes and this is my favorite. I use the parissa warmer to melt the wax evenly, then I keep it on the warmer but turn it off for 5 minute intervals to keep the wax from getting too warm. When heated properly it has the perfect consistancy and grabs every hair without grabbing the skin. My only warning is do a not let the strips harden, they will tear off in a million painful shards. Just wait like 10-15 second until its no longer sticky and pull it off right away, do one at a time and its actually the most pain free wax I have ever used. It takes even the short fine hairs 🙂

   I have been purchasing this product for over six years now. I haven’t used it in a while, but my mom still uses it to this day. I am actually thinking of using it again.

   I heat it on my stove top on high, then let it sit a few minutes to cool down. I cant use the stick because I’ll end up taking off half my brows (which actually did happen when I tried using the stick the first time I bought this LOL). I use my finger. Yes, its not very sanitary, but I wash my hands well and don’t touch anything other than the wax with that finger. The wax should not be hot enough to burn or cause discomfort. I then place it on my skin like you would using the stick (in a line), wait a few seconds and pull it off quickly making sure my finger is close to my skin. If done correctly, I rarely have to redo an area. This took me years to perfect, so don’t give up. I used to completely suck at using it. I do my full face, and so does my mom.

   I also use the oil included with the wax to remove any wax still on my skin after I’m finished. It’s awesome and works great. I am paranoid about breaking out though, so I do wash my face with my cleanser after. If you’re acne prone, I would recommend you do the same.

   I will keep repurchasing it for my mom, and If I decide to start using wax again I will be using this.

   I really wanted to like this product … alas, unfortunately for me this product fell short of my expectations. I used the Parissa Wax Warmer (fab product!!) to get this wax to the right consistency before getting on with the deed. It was perfectly honey-like texture, which would harden pretty swiftly once set on skin. So far, so good. But once I got to the actual waxing portion of the program my experience with this wax went downhill. First of all, every time I would pick up a bit of wax with the provided specula, a tiny droplet of wax would land on my bathroom floor, the sink, etc. It was really, really hard to remove it from those surfaces. I even have some stuck to my nail right now as I type this – 2 hours after the deed was done 🙁 I’m also not a newbie to the world of D.I.Y. waxing, but this wax, by far, was the worst offender when it came to my pain threshold. It tugged on my delicate skin as each strip was being ripped off, and the whole process was rather unpleasant. Unfortunately, this product is just way too messy for my liking. Oh well! Onwards with my search for the perfect hair removal product.

   I had been home waxing for quite some time a few years back then stopped and started professionally getting my upper lip/eyebrows waxed. For convenience sake, I thought I would try a home waxing kit and bought this one. I really didn’t like having to warm it on the stove as the handle was insanely hot and I needed oven kits to pick it up! (spilled a bit on my granite counter top – impossible to get off!)
   I applied the warm wax and it instantly hardend on my upper lip. I tried to peel a bit of the edge back to be able to rip the strip off and even just peeling the edge back it was ripping tiny hairs out and was incredibly painful! Same goes for my eyebrows.. too hard without a strip to get a solid grip to get all the wax off in one shot.
   I’m usually fine with waxing, especially my eyebrows.. but this was absolutely painful and very uncomfortable. I used this once and thew it in the garbage. Never again!
   Would not recommend to anyone. Much better off with the strips and a container you can warm in the microwave.

   I bought this product about a month ago and will never pay to get my eyebrows waxed again! It is very easy to apply and not painful at all. I prefer this over the strip method.
   The 2 complaints I have about this product:
   1) The packaging is confusing. I had to search to find the directions for heating the wax, since this was my first time waxing at home. I ended up opening the package in the store and having to read from the directions inside!
   2) There are only 3 applicator sticks. I have used this 3 times already since purchasing- twice on brows and once on lip, and still have a lot of wax left. This means I have to go purchase more applicators.

   I usually use the warm wax with strip kit by the same brand but they were out at the store so I thought I would give this a try. I was skeptic because it would need a warmer but I decided to just use the stove for the initial use since u can’t put it on the microwave. Well today I am going to buy a warmer!! It took a little to get used to it but it worked fine. Putting it on my face was easy and then the initial application was a bit painful but it always is. I only had to put one application on my sideburn area and wow did it work. Just like the direction said use a this layer then get a good grip from one end and pull it off. the hairs really do just come off. the was gets cool and cleans up so easily. they do give you oil to soften and wipe excess dry wax off. I am very happy and will be buying again. Cost was 9.99 at ulta. I think I will get 4 uses out of it for about 50% of my face. The product I purchased came with a green wax. I had no problems.

   I wanted to like this product. But I’m not made of money, and when buying it I did not realize I would need either a wax warmer or a stovetop to heat it. Well, I used my stovetop to heat it, which took forever, then started to put it on. I could not for the life of me pull the edge up enough to get a good grip, and YES I’ve used hard wax before. This was messy, stringy, and made me finally decide, I’ll stick to strips and sugar and Nad’s hair removal gel, thanks.

   I’m with the reviewer below. This stuff used to be amazing. I learned to wax my eyebrows to perfection with the old green formula. I just got a new box and it’s blue and sticky and never hardens. It’s a runny mess and gets everywhere. It’s like pulling off elmers glue (a globby, sticky mess). What a bummer. I hope they didn’t change the formula forever…If you can get your hands on their standard Green for coarse hair. it’s awesome.

   This used to be an amazing product! I would heat it up with my hairdryer and would be done in 5 min. The wax was a green colour and would go on smoothly and harden up well. They’ve since changed the formula; it’s now blue and when heated turns into a sticky runny mess. It takes much longer to harden up and when it does it’s still way too sticky and stays on your fingers, yuck!

    Did my first Brazilian ever with this stuff and it worked great!!!
    Very nice smelling- natural product and the after care oil is awesome!!
    So much better than other brands in terms of effectiveness.
    Saved me at least $45-65 getting it done at a salon.
