i’ve finally found an eyebrow pencil that matches my hair color precisely – that is this pencil in br 603 light brown. i love this pencil. comparing it to my beloved shu uemura hard formula hard 9 eyebrow pencil, shiseido’s formula is not as hard as that of shu uemura thus it glides on more effortlessly and there’s no tugging. i don’t mind both formula so to me they are just different, and not better than the other. both pencils are priced at the same level (shiseido at usd 20 and shu uemura at usd 23) but the shiseido one is a lot shorter (1.1g) compared to the shu one (4g) thus it is pricier. the shiseido one however comes with a brush at the other end of the pencil–and a pretty good one too!–so i guess that makes up for the price. i love both pencils and to me they are the best, easiest to use eyebrow pencil in the market. definitely repurchasing.
