What a beautiful, rich, autumnal colour! Foxy is a chocolatey brown, red leaning, shimmery polish. I don’t know what took me so long to try it, but now that I have, I will be wearing it regularly. It’s very close to Jessica Kinky and Illamasqua Scarab.

Lovely coppery red but I must admit, I like Zoya’s Colbie better. Colbie is a redder, hotter version of Foxy. When you compare them, you see that Foxy is like a paler, slightly washed out Colbie.

Amazingly beautiful and festive red with a small amount of brown. It has a lovely shimmer, but not any more than any other nail polish. I can’t stop looking at my hands and am looking into stocking up on this color. It applied easily and smoothly in two coats plus base coat and top coat. The brush is of average width, which I like. OPI went to a wider brush and even the pros complain that it is too wide and more difficult to use. Overall, China Glaze is a great polish and Foxy is a unique gorgeous red that can be worn every day.

A great color from a great collection. I’m wearing this one as my Christmas color. Love the underlying golden sheen it has.

Beayoootiful nail polish, this is. Foxy is warm burgundy frost with an appealing gold undertone. As mentioned in the other review of this polish, this is a part of CG’s Vintage Vixen collection for fall, and it’s perfect for the season and matches the decade it’s dedicated to perfectly. This is the kind of red nail polish Joan Holloway from Mad Men would wear obsessively (yeah, wrong decade, but whatever). Lovely.

Foxy was released with the 2010 Vintage Vixens collection. I was in love with this polish from the moment I saw the promo images, more so when I saw the swatches on nail blogs and mostly now that I own it myself! This is a reddened brown with a frost that comes off more as a micro shimmer than what we typically think of as “frost.” It is a perfect fall/winter color, and while its not quite that time of year yet, I couldn’t help myself… I had to wear it. I found that this has very good pigmentation but does come off a bit streaky on the first coat. I applied two coats and am good. While I wish the brush were a bit wider, this isn’t something I will mark against this product. I didn’t find the consistency to be thick nor too thin. China Glaze polishes are pretty reasonable in price, I believe, but I bought mine at wholesale, so I can’t comment too much on the retail of them. All around, I think this collection was nice. I ended up with several of the polishes from this particular collection. Would I repurchase? I absolutely would! I adore this color polish.
