I really don’t like this. It seriously weighs down my eyelashes and doesn’t curl them at all. A real disappointment.

For awhile after you first open it, it is a bit too wet for optimal usage. It does give really nice volume. It just isn’t very separating. Cover Girl’s Lash Blast applicators are so much better.

I actually like cover girl mascara. In fact, I was looking at my makeup collection, and other than my high end ones, all of my mascaras are by cover girl. That being said, I have so many mascaras because I can’t seem to find a GREAT one, cheap or high end. Today, though, I decided to do a test. I put my $25 LORAC pro mascara + fiber on one eye and this mascara on the other. I was kind of shocked and a little upset that this mascara made my lashes look fuller and longer and darker than my fancy schmancy fiber mascara did. It was EXTREMELY noticeable how much this mascara outperformed the LORAC one. (And I actually used this one on the eye with the fucked up lashes because I was secretly rooting for LORAC, in order to justify its price tag- still, cover girl prevailed.) all of that being said, though, my eyes will water a lot with this, If I happen to get too close to my eyeball, so that’s a bummer, because you obviously want coverage from root to ends. Still. You will definitely get curl and volume with this bad boy. And by the end of the day, neither mascara had flaked or leaked or anything. And I forgot to check specifically how the lashes themselves looked, but I always do quick mirror-glances throughout the day to make sure my lipstick isn’t on my chin or whatever and neither eye struck me as being superior. Based even just on the massive price difference, I’d go with this baby in the future

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE. Paired it with my covergirl lash blast mascara, and they are like the perfect match! My eyes are my favorite feature about myself, and this mascara helps bring them out!

A holy grail of mine, another hidden drugstore gem. The formula is slightly wet and thick. The brush is quite thick, and big, but its small at the same time. I really like how its short and fat, it makes it a lot more easier to hug my lashes and plump them up. I really like this mascara, it gives me a slight wispy appeal to my lashes, while still looking thick. It lengthens, thickens, slightly seperates as it curls. For voluminizing, i think its great, but some people will crave more. I wear this everyday, its easy on my eyelashes, and it doesnt have a smell that lingers around. For bottom lashes its a bit hard to reach but that wont make me stop getting this mascara. The black is your average black, not a jet black. It really fans out my lashes and makes my eyelashes look like a butterfly. The seperation isnt super seperating, but it does seperate well. I never curl my eyelashes for this mascara.
Overall i love this mascara a lot, and i highly suggest it.

Really great for a drugstore mascara, I was very surprised with the excellent results! very impressive length and curl–I put on two coats, and my lashes (which are just average length and straight-ish) were very noticeably long and curled–even my bf noticed, and he usually doesn’t see these sorts of details…I will definitely buy again.

I’m not gonna say much. Formula was way too wet IMO. It makes it much harder to use than it already is with it’s big-as-crap wand. Honestly did nothing but wet my lashes. I wanted to pair it with my Loreal Telescopic (which is wonderful BTW) for volume, but Cover girl simply has failed to cut it for me, once again.

This is a good mascara. I like it, gives good length and good volume. I would most likely repurchase. I wish the wand was a little bit longer though

This was just a ho-hum mascara. Nothing special.
I bought this as part of a BOGO deal at my local drugstore. So along with another mascara I paid $4.00CDN. I bought the colour “Very Black Blaze”.
I have heard many great things regarding this mascara so I was eager to give it a go.
After opening the package I found the brush to be thick with bristles and curled up. Seemed good so far.
Once I applied it, I wasn’t so optimistic. There was a LOT of mascara on the brush. With so much mascara loaded onto the brush, it made it hard to separate the lashes and make them look full and thick. Instead all of my lashes just bunched together with sticky, goopy mascara.
Now I believe that you have to let a mascara dry out a bit before you can see what it really has to offer. So I did continue to fight with this stuff for a week or so.
It did dry up a bit and I did see some improvement. Nothing spectacular though. My lashes didn’t look thick or “flamed up”. They just looked blah.
I continued to use this for about a month before tossing in the towel. It did nothing for me. The colour payoff was pretty pathetic for being, “very black”. My lashes just didn’t have any oomph.
I have not experienced any sensitivity to this product or found it flaked off much. It was a bit difficult to remove and required a bit more tough love.
All in all, just another blahzay mascara on the market.

I have tried TONS of different mascaras, from sephora to the drugstore. And i find that this mascara is definetly my favourite! Even compared to dior show mascara (which i find flakes). This mascara gives me incredibly voluminous, long lashes and also holds a curl nicely. The formula is not too wet and not too dry, and i find the wand easy to work with. And the best part is- no racoon eyes or flaking! Even with my oily skin. Im suprised that a drugstore brand mascara could be this good.
