Although I am huge fan of lipsticks from the Maquillage line, this new dual color product has left me a little disappointed. It is supposed to create a gradation of color similar to the trend that started in Korea, of a darker color at the center of your mouth which thins out into a lighter color outwards. So basically you get two shades in one lipstick and you`re supposed to apply the lighter shade all over, then apply the darker just to the middle of your lips. I own the 10 Lady Red shade, but I find that the two colors in the bullet are too close to each other to really get a gradient. My friend, who has fuller lips than me, has tried it also, but she had the same issue. I went back to the Shiseido counter and asked the sales lady to teach me how to apply it, in case I was doing it wrong, but she basically got the same results as me. We played around with different shades, and discovered that 50 (a lighter brownish red) formed the best gradation, but still nothing like in the advertisement. I didn`t return it, I figured it`s still a very nice lipstick, moisturizing and full of vibrant color. However if you`re looking to buy this to get the look in the ad that comes with it, I don`t recommend it.
