Like other reviewers, I got this as a birthday present. I’ve never used a CK product before, and I mostly use drugstore mascaras, so I was intrigued at trying this product. First of all, since I have skimpy, aging lashes, I found the mascara difficult to apply with the puffy brush, although it’s not the absolute worst I’ve used. I did learn to use the brush, however, although I never tried twisting the applicator to change the brush configuration. I think that’s a clever idea, even if I never took advantage of it, so I’m planning on cleaning the brush and using it for my brows or something. I thought the mascara formula was about right–not gloppy or excessively clumpy or anything. It seems like it might be a bit darker than my usual drugstore mascaras, which is nice. For those who are fussy about how a product’s packaging looks, I have to warn that the rubbery black tube gets dirty-looking very quickly. Overall I think this is a good mascara, but not worth going out of my way to buy it, or paying more than I usually do.

This is a dry mascara, which I like. However the twisting applicator wand is just a gimmick and totally an unnecessary feature. The formula goes on clumpy and is not buildable. And in my opinion, the packaging isn’t cute. Overall, a disappointing product. My HG mascara still remains Urban Decay’s Perversion.

This mascara is good. It holds a curl very well and I have some very stubborn lashes and its volumizing as promised. I just don’t like how it flakes. Especially by the end of the day I have a lot of flakes all around my eyes.

I received this as my Ulta free birthday gift last year. (This is not the CK mascara with the twist applicator.) My eye lashes used to be thick, full, and long; they no longer are. After trying this it quickly became my favorite mascara. It does start to flake after a long day, but not in the course of a regular work day. I get many compliments on my lashes and love the way my lashes look. I have bought this several times, including last week.

I got this mascara for free for my birthday at ULTA last year. It was fantastic for the first couple of weeks of using it, but then the twisting part of the lid started to get stuck, and the product didn’t apply as nicely. It stays on all day, but comes off very easily if you rub your eyes.

This is a sleek mascara! I love that you can twist the applicator and change how the brush applies the mascara – tighter spacing or larger spacing for a different look. It’s great for the bottom lashes or the top lashes. I haven’t noticed any mascara migrating to my under eye area throughout the day and it doesn’t clump when you apply it. Those are two A’s in my book.

Got this free from Ulta as a birthday gift. Works well and the spin brush allows for control of how much product you want to use. Not super volumizing but can be layered to plump up well.

HORRIBLE!! Went in the trash after two uses. Ulta gift for birthday. Huge chunks on my lashes that I could not remove with any remover or even in the shower that fell off smeared onto my face during the day. Took two weeks to finally get it all off.

I bought this after the girl at Ulta recommended it. She used it herself and said it was her absolute favorite mascara ever. This is NOT the one with the brush that twists and changes. I had never tried Calvin Klein cosmetics (didn’t even realize he had a line) and it was cheaper than what I was originally heading in there to try. This stuff is amazing. I have sad short, straight lashes. If I don’t curl them and apply mascara, it doesn’t look like I have them. This stuff makes them look SO long and separates beautifully. I curl, apply one coat, curl again and apply another. No clumping, curl lasts until I wash it off. Comes off easily with coconut oil. I’ve used other mascaras that may make my lashes look as good, but are a total pain the butt to remove which makes me not want to use them on a daily basis. Formula is dryer which I really like because it doesn’t smudge on my face when I use it. No complaints about this product, worth every penny.
