I was not a big fan of this.
I can smell the pear scent in there a bit, a little musk, the vanilla is very hard to discern over the floral notes. It has a sweet scent more of a cotton candy to me than vanilla.
I feel this is very young smelling and candy like also I feel like I can find something similar at the drugstore. My 6 year old liked this ok but even she prefers wild honeysuckle to this. I am not too thrilled with it. It is not bad but I will not repurchase.

I bought the small edp and loved it and layer it with lighter lotions and scents and don’t mind the wear down..which makes it nice to me.

I bought the sheer perfume.mist on the semi annual sale and it smells lovely. A rare one that is extremely wearable as well as gift able. ,I really like this and think it smells terrific but it’s one of those that I know I will wear every drop but am unsure if I would repurchase……here’s why.. my.skin eats scents and I seem to burn it off.my.body within an few hours….and my boyfriend hasn’t said anything about it smelling good. He compliments the super sweet scents and I want to smell the way he likes. Velvet sugar smells more.romanticto me…..like.sophisticated candy or something. This one is good though

This STINKS! way too heavy. Bath and Body Works keeps getting worse and worse. I don’t wear anything that smells like old lady perfume and to me this fits the bill. I miss the light and fruity body splash that used to be BBW trademark.

I really love this scent!!!
I can pick up the plumeria, vanilla, sandalwood & musk. After the dry down the scent imo is subltle, long lasting and just smells heavenly!!
This body mist is long lasting too especially when used with the shower gel and body lotion/cream.
Definite repurchase! (I might even get this in the sheer perfume mist since my husband loves it when I wear this scent!!)

This has a sweet and fruity vanilla scent. It’s not too overpowering but it’s sort of rich and full when you take a whiff. I bought the EDP and I find it smells really good. It has a mature scent but it doesn’t say “I’m an old woman”, it’s more like womanly, sexy, and sultry.

I have this shower gel & it smells divine! Typical vanilla layered with a bit of sweetness & musk. I don’t normally like musk but this works somehow together. I dig anything vanilla. This is no exception. This smells very rich & decadent, a little boozy but without a lot of detectable coconut which it seems like if a scent has vanilla it’s always got an obligatory coconut component which in this is truly minimal. And there’s not much else minimal about this scent, it’s loud & in your face not subtle just for a teeny tiny little bit then fades really fast (unfortunately), I hate it when a fragrance fades easily.
Edit 5/9/15: I have the body soufflé (“butter”) & it smells divine & got the Fine Fragrance Mist (as they so term it) aka the body spray. I really, really dig vanilla & this is a gr8 summer scent coz its heavy & boozy like I said above perfect for hot humid weather coming up this summer. I can’t get enough vanilla scents!!!!!!

This is the new fragrance from B&BW and I LOVE it. It works well with my chemistry and comes off very warm and sultry. I smell vanilla and wood mostly with a hint of musk. Very nice fragrance!
Top notes are pear, clementine, and apples. Middle notes are wild jasmine, gardenia, heliotrope, and frangipani. Base notes are vanilla, sandalwood, and musk.

This review is for the Bath and Body Works Wild Madagascar Vanilla Fine Fragrance Mist purchased October 2014 from the BBW online. The item comes in a clear plastic round bottle about 9 inches tall with a cap. The mist is an ambery red liquid and thus makes the bottle appear amber colored. The bottle is decorated with gold foil colored vanilla orchid. While it is a perfectly lovely bottle, it is a bit large to carry around day to day.
The smell is a creamy sweet vanilla with just a touch of musk. The scent has no staying power on me, I have sprayed and sprayed on my skin and on my clothing, and within minutes I can no longer smell it. I thought perhaps my nose had acclimated to the smell and others were still able to smell it, so I asked my husband to stand a couple of feet away from me and tell me if he smelled anything… he said no. I then asked him to come closer and smell… nothing. He literally had to be right up on my neck before he could smell anything and even then he said he could no longer smell it that closely on me an hour later.
As much as I love Bath and Body Works, I hate that I spend so much on the stuff only to have it virtually disappear on me within moments. I asked my sister to try on one of the other fragrance mists I had gotten thinking perhaps my body chemistry wasn’t conducive to good staying power, but the same happened with her. She could barely smell it on herself.
I purchased 4 of the fall fragrance mists, and I got a few of my friends to try spritzing them on their wrists before we went out to a movie, and asked them to let me know anytime we smelled any of them on ourselves or others… and even sitting next to each other at the theatre none of us smelled anything and I literally used a full half ounce of the one I was wearing just spraying allover myself. I am disappointed in these to say the least! The most recent sprays from BBW seem to be lackluster and garbage! I honestly do not believe that they live up to the ‘fine’ cannotation in their name as few if any of the ingredients could be considered to be good. Most are synthetic ingredients. AT least they don’t test on critters.
Ingredients are as follows: Denatured Alcohol, Water, Fragrance, Aloe Extract, Propylene Glycol, Butyl methoxydibenzoylemethane (synthetic ingredient found in sunscreen), ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate (a UV filter), ethylhexyl salicylate (UV light absorber), alpha-isomethyl ionone (a synthetic compound banned in many countries as a fragrance additive…is a synthetic version of the fragrance and flavoring ingredient Ionone. It’s a very pale yellow to colorless liquid with a woody, or floral scent. Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone is used in many products such as bubble baths, hair products, aftershave, moisturizers and perfumes. The amount of it that can be put in a skin-care product is limited because it can cause irritation), butylphenyl methylpropional (Synthetic fragrance with a floral-fresh scent. Fragrances may cause irritation. It’s best not to use items containing them on a baby’s skin), coumarin (made from Tonka beans and used as a fragrance) , limonene (used to add a citrusy or pine smell), geraniol (Oily, colorless liquid with a sweet floral rose scent. A main component in the oils of: rose, geranium, citronella, lavender, and jasmine.) , hydroxycitronellal ( Synthetic, clear to yellow, oily liquid. Used in perfumes. Has a sweet, floral, lily of the valley scent, do not use on baby skin), hydroxyisohexyl 3-cyclohexene (Fragrance ingredient with floral/lily/lilac scent. Fragrances may cause irritation. It’s best not to use them on a baby’s skin.), carboxaldehyde, red 40

I like the way this smells, but I answered “no” to the rebuy question because I just don’t think it’s that special to warrant a repurchase. For something labeled as a vanilla fragrance, it’s surprisingly more fruity than you’d think. It does have a woody vanilla base that smells yummy, but it reminds me a lot of Forever Sunshine. I’m sure I’ll use it and enjoy it, but you get that feeling from it that you often do at BBW: “Haven’t I smelled this before?”
Top Notes: African Pear, Sparkling Clementine, Ruby Apple.
•Mid Notes: Wild Jasmine, Wild Gardenia, Heliotrope Petals, Golden Plumeria
•Dry Notes: Madagascar Vanilla, White Sandalwood, Creamy Musk
P.S. Packaging looks like they revamped the Into the Wild stuff… with different colors. Not a fan.
