   I had to wait a long time to get this because it was out of stock everywhere once I decided to purchase it. It was worth the wait. I’m very pale and cool (NW10), so most blushes that look right on me are very pink. Browns and peaches are no-goes. Gracilis, though, is a beautiful mauve that leans neutral-cool. It’s not sparkly or have a sheen; it just gives a beautiful glow. It has good lasting power. The only downside is the price (currently 35 USD). I think it would look good on all but the warmest and darkest of skin tones. I’ve worn it everyday since I got it because I’m so excited to have a blush that’s not pink pink pink that looks good on me.

   ETA: it’s now 7 months since I wrote the above review, and I’m still using this blush daily. I’ve barely made a dent in the blush. This is clearly a quality product that lasts!

   Of all my pinky-mauve blushes, Rouge Bunny Rouge rises head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to texture: almost creamy in its softness, yet without kicking up any dust, with a subtle sheen. While I think this is shown to better advantage with the brighter, more pigmented colors, as a nude blush Gracilis registers as healthy, glowing skin rather than makeup, because of how beautifully the pigment sits on the skin. A beige tone balances the grey in the mauve, without adding any of the earthy warmth that sometimes makes other nude blushes too much like a bronzer (Armani #5, for example) on my skintone. On someone paler than my roughly N15 self, it should be more brightening a blush, less a nude.

   The only disadvantage I can think of, considering its luxury pricing, is how much I use per application, due to its softness on the skin.

   I LOVE Gracilis, it is quite a unique colour and so beautiful on the cheeks. I am neutral (around NC15/RBR Coconut Milk Parfait/Chanel 10) and it shows up well on me. In my opinion, it is suitable for pale to fair skintones of all undertones and not just cool undertones as RBR suggests. I would describe the colour as light rose leaning mauve. It looks matte (and to be frank, rather boring) in the pan but gives a slightly glowy and gorgeous look on cheeks.

   I’d say that this is a pretty office-safe and foolproof shade. It is impossible to overdo this as it is not really pigmented and a light colour. Gracilis will go with any type of makeup but if you like your makeup to be strong on the cheeks then this might not be the one for you. Due to its light colour, I would also not recommend it to anyone above NC30.

   I’ve been using Gracilis really often and it lasts for 12h or more on me. (but it starts fading around the 8h mark). I’ve napped in this and it’s still there when I wake up. The lasting power is superb for something that is so light in colour. I won’t be without this and will definitely repurchase when I use mine up 🙂

   I have warm toned skin and the SA at my local BlueMercury store suggested that if I wanted to wear a cooler look I should go for dusty rose/mauve/cool plum colors. After reading the reviews about this blush, I took the plunge. It’s a perfect (pick one) cool plum, dusty rose, mauve-y color and looks great on my skin. The RBR website suggests it for cool skin tones, but I’m here to say it looks good on us NC gals as well. I usually have to apply several “swipes” to build it up to a color level that I like, but I’d rather do that than have too much pigment to deal with on the first application. It doesn’t oxidize and remains its true color all day.

   WOW. This blush looks like it was made for my complexion. I’ve never seen a blush look this good on my skin. They’re always too orange, too pink, too fake looking. I’ve used so many brands.
   I’d describe this as a cool toned plum color. The manufacturer’s website says this is best suited for pale cool toned skin, which is exactly me. I’m not sure if you have other coloring if this would look as good, BUT the rouge bunny website has skin tone recommendations for all of their blush shades so I’m sure you’d find a great match. I’m so glad I ordered this blush based on the reco for my skin.

   I’m glad I tried this blush because it’s both so very natural and easy to apply. I’m quite pale and have to have a light hand applying blush. But this blush is so finely milled and applies very evenly. It looks perfectly natural and not at all like a powder blush that you can see sitting on top of your skin. It just looks like it’s part of your skin, even when you’re looking closely in a magnifying mirror. It’s a delicate pale rose that gives the perfect hint of color. For me, it’s a winner.

   This blush has a smooth texture to the touch but is slightly dry upon application and fades within a few hours. The color is a very feminine dusty rose pink, it is pretty and this does contain some micro shimmer. The amount is small for the price and the packaging is light weight and feels cheap. There are better blushes for the price.

   This blush is unlike any I’ve other used. It melds with the skin effortlessly, creating a gorgeous natural glow. Gracilis is a mauvy-pink, heavier on the mauve, and best for cool complexions. It’s incredibly finely milled but tightly packed, so there’s no powder fallout from running a brush over it. I’ve found that any brush applies this product flawlessly, from my Ecotools to my NARS Yachiyo. The color lasts all day without fading or looking blotchy. Although it’s a small, round compact of product (3.5 g for $31) as opposed to NARS (4.5 g for $28), I think RBR is probably the better value due to less waste from fallout. This is truly a remarkable product. Goodbye Francois (well, your blushes, at least), hello RBR!

   Rouge Bunny Rouge is one of those brands I put on my face and I try not to think about it. I was raised on Hemingway. There’s only so much I can take of floribunda-elves. Fortunately, products and ad copy are two very different things. As fanciful as the product descriptions are, the blush line is very down to earth, with shades that are versatile and flatter a variety of skins and a variety of looks. Rouge Bunny Rouge For the Love of Roses Original Skin Blush in Gracilis is a gorgeous mauve-rose. It’s not too blue or cool at all. It looks more muted mauve in the pan, and a bit more neutral on my NW5 cheeks.The finish is effortlessly satiny. The powder texture is creamy and fine. It wears well and it just looks like skin, not a layer of powder. It’s definitely a luxury product–by most standards, it’s expensive for the amount of product you get (3.5g; NARS blushes are over 4 grams, I believe; Shiseido’s blushes are 6 grams or so) but the feel and wear of the product are beyond par. The packaging seems a bit flimsy, but at the same time, I haven’t had the plastic break yet.
