I got this as part of a combo pack along with the shampoo, spray, etc. The gel is in a tub and looks a bit like jello. A small amount distributed through my hair (after using my leave-in conditioner) helped a great deal in defining my curls and keeping frizz down while not drying my hair out. It dries with minimal crunchiness, which is easily scrunched out. Though I wasn’t expecting this, my hair also looks very shiny after it dries with this.
As far as negatives, I don’t love having to dip my fingers in the tub, I’m not crazy about the candy-sweet smell (though it doesn’t linger), and slightly wish it was a more natural color instead of red/pink, though that is not a big deal here. I’ll continue to use, but will probably still experiment with other gels and creams.
