Left my face with small bumps and made it hard to get rid of pimples fast

This is good to use in the morning when you’re getting ready but I don’t recommend it for night when you’re trying to get makeup off. It has a strange gel texture and isn’t very foamy.

My friend sells Arbonne so she convinced me to try it. This is the 2nd Arbonne skin cleanser I have used (the first was the RE9 Advanced Smoothing Facial Cleanser). Like another reviewer, I actually prefer the FC5 Swiss Hydrating Cleanser/Freshener to the RE9 Advanced Smoothing Facial Cleanser. For one, it smells MUCH nicer, like strawberries and kiwis. Secondly, I have combination skin that is also dry in the wintertime. The RE9 was a little TOO moisturizing for my skin, making it oily, but the FC5 cleanser is just right. The cross stands for “Swiss Formula,” and the old packaging actually said “FC5 Swiss” on the tube, while the new packaging just says “FC5.” The “N/D” on the tube stands for “normal-to-dry skin.” I feel clean after using it without feeling dried out. In the spring and summer, I use this cleanser once a day (in the morning, when my skin is less oily), and at night I use a gel cleanser for more oil control. I read on the Arbonne website that their RE9 line “reverses aging” and their FC5 (Fresh Cell 5) line “stops aging.” I use all the other skincare products in the RE9 line except for the cleanser. An added bonus is that this cleanser is half the price of the RE9 cleanser! Neither one is cheap, but this one is a much better value.

I actually like this cleanser – it smells good and actually works to remove makeup and not strip my skin. It is better than the RE9 in my opinion. I may even order one – but it is $26 retail. Ugh!

I had never tried an Arbonne product, but Joey, an independent Arbonne Consultant in Airdrie, Alberta gave me a bottle of the FC5 Invigorating Body Cleanser and I’m hooked!
It is absolutely the best cleanser – leaves skin squeaky clean and so soft! The scent is perfectly balanced. Everything about this cleanser screams FRESH.

I have been using this cleanser (along with the nurturing day lotion and moisturizing night cream) for about a month. This cleanser was a disappointment. I expected it to be hydrating, but it wasn’t. I found it left my skin feeling dry and tight. It also stings a bit — not terribly, but it is unpleasant and unexpected. Additionally, it does not do a very thorough job of removing my make-up when I am wearing full foundation (I use Arbonne foundation, too).
Generally, I quite like Arbonne products, but this one just didn’t live up to claims and expectations. Given that it is quite pricey ($31 CDN!), I just can’t justify repurchasing this.

I started using Arbonne Fc5 Hydrating Cleanser/Freshener for about a month now. I’m asian and I have sensitive/combination skin. I tend to break out from everything I use to clean my face and unfortunately this was one them. The first time I cleaned my face with this cleanser it left my face soft but dry (so I used my everyday moisturizerafterwards). I gave it a couple more weeks it minimized my pores but I did notice little bumps forming in places that I usually never got pimples (on my upper lip, chin, temples and surprisingly on my back!!) It wasn’t a new diet or anything the cleanser was the only thing i tried for that whole month and before i wasn’t using anything except washing my face with water because like I said, I seem to break out from everything. So last week, I went off this cleanser and back to my usual routine (no cleanser just washing with water) and notice my face had less bumps or no bumps at all and my back is now back to normal and CLEAR again. I know its weird, I don’t know why my back had a horrible reaction from this cleanser and I didn’t even put it on my back!! To me, it feels good to throw away this product for good, it just didn’t work, nothing special.
Pros: Smells good, Softens the feel of face (but need moisturizing afterwards), Seems to minimize pores.
Cons: Dried out face, received little bumps or more pimples on face and back, made pimples heal longer that usual.
**This product is a creamy cleanser, washes easily off but nothing spectacular. I will not purchase again.

I have sensitive skin and this is one of the few cleansers I have repurchased. I cannot use any kind of mechanical exfoliant on my face whatsoever. This cleanser has just the right amout of fruit acid to gently exfoliate but not cause me any redness. I cannot use their RE9 line due to the high fruit acids ( vit c, etc) One of the very few cleansers I have used that does not leave my skin feeling dry or tight after use.

To start, I am NOT an Arbonne rep. I am absolutely fickle when it comes to skin care, and have never known any brand loyalty. I also have been on a never-ending search for the perfect cleanser for my dry skin ever since my beloved Aveeno non-foaming cleanser was discontinued 5 years ago. I think my needs are simple, but for some reason, skin care companies have had a hard time with it. I like creamy, non-foaming, and most of all- CLEAN RINSING. It seems like I was always sacrificing one or two of those needs for the other. Finally, I have found all three again!! Unfortunately, what I used to pay $7 per 6.8 oz. for (Aveeno) is now $25 for 4 oz. (Arbonne), but after 5 years of searching, it’s worth it.
