I used this as a teenager because of the wonderful smell, then it got discontinued in my country for some reason, but now it’s back!!! And in the same great, old packaging! I’m currently using the F.A.S.T. shampoo and conditioner because I’m trying to grow out my hair at the moment, but I use this with the F.A.S.T. conditioner just because it smells so GOOD, my hair feels super soft after using this and it moisturizes my hair really well!

Love the original packaging (light yellow bottle with flip top lid, and flowers down the front), and the original scent is heavenly. I use this to cheer myself up once a week, and the scent holds well, which I really appreciate (I am scent driven when it comes to hair products).
I like using this product, and although it is not necessarily targeted at natural hair black girls, I think it is just as good if not better than a lot of afro hair focussed products.
if you live in the UK, it cost a brilliant £1 in anyone of those pound stores. Or £3 from a high street chemist
But bring back the original packaging Clairol(!), the new packaging is crass and cheap looking. The only disappointment is that there are no travel sizes (under 100ml) so you have to transfer the contents to another bottle, and that leads to wastage. Anywho, I like it 🙂

This was part of the Herbal Essences old range – the conditioner for normal hair that comes in an opaque, pale yellow bottle with a bunch of flowers on the front. Very simple, yet eye-catching. The actual conditioner itself leaves my hair feeling so soft and hydrated. This untangles my hair like a dream and makes it all fluffy and soft. The only thing is, I can’t use this all the time, as my itchy, flaky scalp can’t handle this. it doesn’t soothe my scalp in any way and leaves it feeling irritated, I prefer a combination (of shampoo and conditioner) that will leave my naturally flaky, itchy scalp feeling soothed, yet clean without stripping. Unfortunately, I’ve had no luck with Herbal Essences hair care range.

i bought this product as lots of ppl hv recommended clairol but this doesn’t work a bit!yeah.sure..my hair feels soft in the shower and it has a lovely lovely smell but after my hair dries,it feels exactly the same as before.This conditioner did NOTHING for my hair.

What caught my eye was the packaging. I don’t know why but I really like the simple, yellow bottle with the flowers. The conditioner itself is great, it smells soo good! The best smelling conditioner I’ve used and it leaves my hair feeling silky-soft, super shiny and doesn’t weigh it down. It detangles pretty well too. I prefer this to BedHead I think, I definitly recommend this!

This scent pretty much deserves its reputation – it’s great, and lasts a very long time. It is a great conditioner, too – leaves my hair very soft.

This is my HG for hair conditioners! Love the herbal smell and like the previous reviewer, I get tons of complimants from my friends (they really sniffed my hair non-stop). My hair is hard to manage so hair conditioner is a must for me. My natural hair is rather thick and I usually need a lot of conditioner for my long hair. I only need three pumps from this herbal conditioner instead of 5 or six like Pantene conditioners. Love it =)!

I’m actually not sure what type of herbal essences conditioner I got, but I will review here. Everytime I have tried these conditioners, I have been amazed at the compliments I get. The first day I used this three people commented that my hair smelled amazing. One of my friends even pinned me in a corner and started sniffing my hair (but she is weird so yeah…)That enough is a reason to repurchase. The consistency is a little thin and I need a ton to feel like my hair is being conditioned properly. If these ever go on sale then I will repurchase though.
