   On the hunt for a face enhancer, rather than a highlighter (I mean a lovely glow that catches the light) I returned my Cle du Peau #14 which for me was just glitter and went to Sephora to see what was out there. I have Becca Moonstone, champagne pop and a Bobbi Brown shimmer brick, all of which I like, but still not quite what I was looking for. I tried Kevin Acoin Candlelight in the store, but honestly couldn’t see anything happening. I really like Givenchy foundation and remembered seeing the prisme libre on YouTube. I tried it in the store but with so much powder on my face it was hard to see. Today I did my usual skincare and makeup routine, and the final touch was going to be the new prisme libre, hoping to for a finishing touch of glow that brings the look together. I am not a fan of the package although it looks very nice on the counter, and the powder is hard to get out, but I gently shook it so that there was a similar amount of each color and swirled them with a soft brush. Applied to the cheeks where I would use highlighter, and then further around the cheek area, I got the glow I was looking for with a tiny little micro shimmer. I really like it and will use it every day as its hard to overdo. I sure wish there was a pressed version!

   I just recently saw this on Sephora and being a fan of a good setting powder I had to try this. This says it gives a matte finish but enhances radiance. I don’t like a flat matte face so I was excited to try this. It comes in a beautiful and big square that either has a faux leather or leather looking cover with the Givenchy logo. You get 3 grams in each square and only need the smallest amount. So cost wise so far as long as I’ve had it, it’s paying for itself. So the price may be steep but you get a lot of product. The theory is it has 4 different colours that when combined can help with colour correction, make up lasting longer, radience, and softens the complextion. I purchased Voile Rose 7 which is a mixture of pinks and mother of pearl which it says it will create a halo of light and radience.

   I find this to be an amazing setting powder I don’t use the puff even though it’s a good one. I just like a soft fluffy brush better. I flip this upside down in the cap and give a tap on each colour block. I mix them together and I put it all over my face, neck, and chest. And I must say this makes my skin look so smooth and radiant. Not shimmery and you would think the shimmer would show and I saw it once in one type of lighting but outside, indoors, where ever I go I don’t see the sparkle or shimmer on my skin at all. It totally just gives my skin a luminous look to it. This is totally diffrent than Ballz and Ambient lighting powder. For me this is its own product. The pinks in mine totally make my complextion look alive and fresh.

   This is an excellent setting powder it lasts all day on me too. I use blotting powder when I’m out. This though just gives the skin that extra something which in my case is added radiance. This has a lovely musk lilac scent and I think it smells really good. I use this almost everyday and it hasn’t broken me out either. It has some special atomization process which is supposed to make this powder give you a peachy soft skin effect. I feel it does that for me because when I finish my makeup with this powder it just looks so much better. It’s subtle but you can see it. My skin just looks smoother and more alive! I really like this powder and I want to try the 3 other shades. There’s one for every skin need as well so I like the choices and Voile Rose is being very good to me. I highly recommend this because it’s a little bit of luxury where I do see a benefit. Total repurchase!
