My boyfriend had this under his sink. I applied it evenly all over my hair when it was like 10% damp. Then I curled it. Omg my hair had so much volume and stayed so curly all day. My hair has never stayed that curly. I love this product now!

I bought this a long time ago and forgot it was in my box of hair products, but after I went to the salon and hairdresser put some volume mousse on my hair I decided to give this a try. usually I am turned off by the concept of gel (I have thin hair which gets weighed down) but this stuff is FABULOUS. I put a few pumps into my palm and rub it through wet hair and then blow dry. My hair always comes out feeling baby soft and like I just came out of the salon. I love it and I don’t think I could live without it anymore.

My hair is very thick, fairly coarse, and naturally curly. I usually blow it out, but sometimes I use a curl defining cream and gel to go curly. I look for definition and hold without weighing down curls when I’m looking for a good gel. I also can’t stand sticky gel though I can put up with some crunchiness. My go-to gel is usually Biolage Gelee, though lately I’ve been liking Herbal Essences spray gel. I decided to give this a try. I really hate this trigger/nozzle thing. I find it much more difficult to handle than a regular spray. I went to pick it up once and accidently depressed the trigger, spraying my mirror with gel. This gel doesn’t do much for volume or body, but that’s not something I normally have a problem with anyway. But this gel does not have good hold. It’s just a little sticky and it weights down my hair a bit. It’s not as bad as many gels that you squeeze out but it’s far inferior to the Herbal Essences one. Give that one a try first.

THIS IS GOOD STUFF!!! I have tried just about every thickening/volumizing product out there to help my fine, limp, wavy hair. This is truly the best so far. I spray it in damp hair and let air-dry. It gives my hair loads of volume plus a nice wavy/beachy look.
I’ve tried other spray gels that have worked well such as Herbal Essences Tousle me Softly. But Tousle always made my hair appear a tad dry and crunchy. The Tresemme product gives my hair volume without sacrifice; if feels very soft and the frizzies are gone. The spray is very light so even if I apply too much, my hair doesn’t end up crunchy or oily.
So far, I am LOVING this product and anyone with fine hair who likes the tousled look may love it too.
***UPDATE: I have been using this product for a few months now and I still love it. Often, over time, other products start creating a build-up in my fine hair and I lose whatever body and volume they originally offered. But this one still doesn’t disappoint. I do have one complaint..sometimes the tiny nozel gets clogged and the product comes out in squirts instead of a fine spray. But I find I can combat this by giving the nozel a quick wipe before I spray. And I really can’t complain because although the nozel has tiny holes that can easily become clogged, they are also small enough to create a fine mist so the product spreads evenly and I never apply too much.

I am currently obsessed with this!!! It smells divine, keeps my hair shiny and frizz free, holds bangs in place, and makes my hair bouncy and light. I can’t stop touching my hair and running my fingers through it! It detangles also. What I do is make sure my hair is damp not soaking wet, and I squirt pumps into my palm not onto hair, then I pull the product through. It works so great and I love that it is affordable. I also love the packaging! I love black and pink and the way it looks on the counter. I will definitely repurchase.

I originally wanted to get the Tresemme Root Boosting Spray, but I picked this stuff up by mistake. I really do like this product. My hair is straight and it gives my hair some volume. It takes awhile sometimes, but it is a good boost. This is really great for curling or waving your hair. It definitely gives body. And to those people who think smell is important, it smells great. Most Tresemme products do.

I absolutely love this product but the hold isn’t the best but is it well enough for my hair. My hair is straight and easy to manage. I love to use this product when I curl my hair. Sometimes I like to spray the product before I curl my hair so my curls have the affect as if I would had spray them with hairspray. Sometimes I like to spray this product after I curled my hair and scrunch my hair for a more loose curls cause the gel tames them down. I also like to spray this along with my hair for extra hold. I would only recommend this if you have straight thin hair but if you have thick curly hair and you would like to give this a try I don’t think you would hate it. The spray in this product is more handy and less messy since you don’t need to use your hands that much but you can’t really control the amount that sprays out but I don’t think that’s a big problem cause who really needs a pea sized amount of gel?

For some reason, I have a really difficult time using this trigger spray bottle. I have no problem when it comes to the Heat Tamer spray, which has a similar mechanism.
Day one, the gel would not spray out properly. I’ve had too many cases where I aim the bottle at one section of hair, and the bottle is clogged and spurts out product elsewhere. Even with daily cleaning of the nozzle, it just doesn’t deliver where I need it. It doesn’t spray – it shoots a thick stream of product.
Overall, aside from the bad nozzle, the product really doesn’t do anything for me. It doesn’t hold.
I’m a big fan of TRESemme products usually, but this is one I will not be repurchasing.
