its a pretty shade of nude nail polish, very pale, bit pink, bit brown – one of the paler nudes around (should I even go there with the way high end brands only cater to pale skinned ladies?)
I’m going to call this a jelly. 4 coats to be opaque. Yes, 4 coats. you heard it. Its also a streaky finicky polish that wants you to be uber careful with your application to get even coverage and honestly, its a pain in the proverbial. The formula isn’t too thick or too thin, but its still not for the beginners, its not for the ladies who want to slap and go, this is for the ladies (and gents as well as those of the third and fourth genders) the people who like to fuss over a polish in order to get the perfect application.
Tomorrow I have a job interview, so tonight I was that fussy person prepared to spend ages getting the perfect manicure for the interview. Its a nice interview polish shade, well manicured hands without drawing attention to themselves.
Yes, once I got even coverage it looked nice. It looked nice and squishy and ladylike. To me its a ‘jelly’ – 3-4 sheer coats to get a nice squish not quite opaque finish.
Honestly, just about every brand out there makes this colour for a fraction of the price. Yes, they don’t have the pretty Tom Ford packaging, but ultimately i’m buying the product, not the packaging and if the product doesn’t perform? not keen to waste my money on that brand again.
I’ll keep this bottle, I’ll use it up (won’t take long at 4 coats per manicure) but I’m not going to be rushing out to buy another bottle of Tom Ford nail lacquers as I’ve got better things to spend my hard earned dollars on.

Like all TF nail lacquers this one is just perfect. In terms of application, skipping off, drying, surface, and and. All colors miraculously match any skin-tone and undertone. And this naked is the perfect nude! Worth every cent spent on it.

I ordered both this colour and Toasted Sugar. Although I was initially drawn to TS, this is the one I keep coming back to – I have used nearly the whole bottle. I love this colour, perfect balance of pink white and beige. Feels well-groomed yet sexy at the same time.

Got this “naked” shade today and I must say it is a really great shade of nude. It’s almost one shade darker than a clear top coat but with 3 coats it looks natural and elegant. Tom Ford’s makeup collection is ultra high end and it inspires me to get more products. I am hooked.

Even though I give this 4 lippies overall, I’m not sure I would buy it again. I used three coats and I still have visible nail line. However, I think it’s a lovely polish and the color is gorj.

What a pain in the butt! The color looked so pretty from what I could tell when looking at the bottle, but then when I painted my nails with it I wasn’t a fan of if anymore. It took 3 coats for it to look OK but still after 3 coats it still looked streaky. It is not the pretty baby pink color I thought it was going to be. It is a fail. It was disappointing.

Naked is a really pretty medium bright pink polish with microglitter. The color is really fun and especially looks nice in the summer when I have more of a tan. This polish wears nicely — usually around 5 days before chipping on me. But the formula of this is not very good. It is very thick and a little goopy, but it is still really sheer. It takes a good 3 or 4 coats to become totally opaque and cover up the nail line. I hate having to apply more than 2 coats of any polish no matter how much I love the color or how great the wear time is, so I really don’t reach for this that much. I love China Glaze polishes, but I’m not so crazy about this one.

I absolutely love the color of this nail polish; it’s a nice girly almost bubblegum pink with subtle shimmer. It looks lovely in natural lighting.
However, I hate the formula on this one.. it’s gooey, sheer, and a PITA to apply.. I can see my free edge after 4 coats and I’m just not into that. can live without!

I like it I only needed one coat to get a deep pink maybe they improved their formula? I would do a second coat for more pop of color because i really like this pink and it goes well with my Naked 2 palette. I have been on a nude and light pink kick lately. All in all if you like pinks and for the price it’s a good polish and really nice color.

I have had this so long I’ve forgotten where and when I bought it or how much I paid for it. It’s a cute, girly pink, wears well, but is just a bit too sheer for me. I usually have to use three coats to get any color depth.
It’s fun, it’s cute, but I won’t buy it again…and I’m starting to wish it would dry up. 😉

I love this color! The best way I can describe it is Flamingo pink. It is a medium shade pink with peach undertones and microglitter (did I mention that I love CG with microglitter?). It looks perfect on my slightly tanned fair skin. It does go on shear; it took 3 coats in order for it to become opaque. Application was a breeze and it has lasted three days already without chipping. If you love pink, then you will love this color!

I’m 64 years old, have had acrylic nails for at least 25 years, and don’t do flashy manicures and colors very often. It’s either a deep red or a nude. But nudes are so hard!!! I’ve spent years looking for the right one. I have over 40 in my drawer now, and none have made me want to happy dance. Too light, too dirty, too pink, too yellow, too… well… ugly. Until last night, when I put Deborah Lippmann’s “Naked” on. FINALLY! The perfect shade for my skin! I thought that was an impossible task, but I just didn’t look far enough. It’s December right now so my skin is paler than summertime, and maybe I’ll want to use a different shade come summer. But for winter, this is it for me! One coat is thin, two seems to be a good opaque. A bit thicker than some polishes, but I liked the brush and thought it was fairly easy to apply, and easy to fix little boo boos. I put two coats between a base and top coat and will see how it wears for a few days. If you’ve spent years and years struggling to find that perfect nude, and don’t seem to really know if your skin tone is blue-ish or yellow-ish, give this one a try. I think you’ll be impressed!

This is nude cream polish. I find it is very easy to work with. 2 thin coats will result is good opacity. It does lean a tad yellow against my cool skin tone. I find that this color will fake the illusion that one’s nails are longer if applied on shorter nails.

Best nude so far. And I have tried many, normally they are too sheer, too pink or dirty. I have worn only this shade since I bought it last September at Sephora NYC. I’m fair with yellow/neutral tones. Love it!

I have tens of Lippmann polishes — a whole drawer full. A true Lippmann junkie, for many years now, when she was just getting started.
I can honestly say this is one of my least favorite of her nude colors, so I am giving it 3.5 lippies.
Now, compared to other polishes and lines, of course it’s great.
What I don’t like is the semi-sheer aspect, which lends itself to streaking (nothing like an OPI cream, though), and isn’t too forgiving if you are working hard and your nails get dirty.
I’d go with Modern Love’s nude mauve color, which I love much more than this. Or even a putty taupe like “Waking Up In Vegas.”
The best YNBB nude Lippmann ever made she discontinued — that was her 5 lippie nude, “You Can Leave Your Hat On.” A true nude with the smallest gold microglitter I’ve ever seen that gave the illusion of barely there while providing complete opacity to hide any unsightly stuff that might collect under the nails during the day.
So while “Naked” is a good color compared to most of what’s out there, it’s not Lippmann at her best in my opinion — color me a spoiled Diva, I guess.

I have very fair cool toned skin and this polish looks great. I think thin coats are the way to go. I got excellent wear with NYC top coat, and chips were relatively unnoticeable when I started getting them around day four. I am so happy with this purchase!

HG!! I like that this is a beige nude and I feel like they are so hard to find. I also like that it seems to work whenever my hands are pale or tan. I hope Deborah Lippmann releases more nude shades in the future. I will repurchase.

Oh my oh. I’m so sorry Ladies, but I honestly hate this. I’m pretty sure something is wrong with my bottle, because it is so dry, goopy. I love the high shine finish and the shade, -perfect, classy nude- , but the formula is simply hateful. I can’t deal with it. If it would last for days… I’d say ok. But chipping after 2 days? Come on.
