A brief review as l only tried the 15ml sample. I love the smell, it is the product’s natural fragrance as there is no added perfume. I have tried all of the Liz Earle moisturisers, and tbh they’re all pretty similar. Especially the 3 Skin Repairs. The ingredients list between all 3 is quite similar. This one has niacinamide added and absorbs intantly. It’s not thick or heavy. It hydrates well. It is obviously thicker than the light version, but the gap isn’t as big as l feared. Sometimes the light leaves my skin too dry, so l step up to this without upsetting my face. Haven’t noticed any extra breakouts when l use it, but it doesn’t seem to do much except hydrate. I have yet to find a western cream that really helps my skin.

I have very sensitive skin which is prone to dry patches if irritated/not properly moisturised. Unfortunately, this moisturiser does not work for me – skin looks red and irritated immediately after applying. I think it’s also caused me to break out but I’m not sure if this is due to the horrible jar packaging or the actual product (I’ve tried to use the moisturiser again and again over the course of about a year).

Pros: This moisturiser kept my skin in great condition even with the combination of -25C outside and central heating inside. Normally I have to sleep with a moisturising mask every night to avoid flaky, itchy and tight skin. Very impressed!!
Cons: I don’t like the packaging, it looks cheap. I could live with that, but unfortunately I also really hate the smell.
I probably won’t purchase again and will go back to Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream, which works just as well, without the disgusting smell. If you don’t mind the scent, give this a try!

This is a great moisturiser and smells great too. I usually feel like moisturisers combat dry skin externally but don’t hydrate but with this I feel as though my skin us hydrated too. It is for dry/sensitive skin but it’s not thick in texture which I’m pleased about. Some moisturisers are far too heavy but the texture of this is just right.

This is DEFINITELY NOT for sensitive skin! I applied this and about five minutes later my skin started to feel irritated. I thought it may have been the way it works, but I was wrong. This gave me a bad reaction and redness on my cheeks. The price is ridiculously high as well, and rubbish packaging which makes it all worse. I liked the smell of it and the texture, but sadly it didn’t work for me. I have always had a clear t-zone especially my forehead, but this product ruined that for me too. Thankfully, buying products from Lush has helped my skin to heal.

Liz Earle is one of those brands that I love but I dip in and out of buying their products, like I’ll buy something then love it rave on about it, then when it runs out I forget about it and move on to something else. I’ve always loved Cleanse and Polish and the Skin Tonic they are HG status for me, but because its more of a luxury brand I don’t buy it all that often. Not that I’m a cheapskate when it comes to skin care, its just its not financially viable to buy it all the time.
I recently received vouchers for LE for my birthday so I nipped into the shop and they had a deal on where you could get the moisturiser, tonic, cleanse & polish plus the cloths and an eye cream for £43 (roughly $71). Which is a good deal when you think that normally the tonic and cleanse and polish would come to £32.
Anyway, so this is my first try of the Skin Repair moisturiser, and I can safely say it is the bomb.com. I am even tempted to go and buy a back up for when this one runs out I love it that much.
First of all, the texture is amazing. Its so rich and creamy and yet it absorbs quickly on the skin, which means its perfect to go under make up and won’t be all over your pillow when you go to bed at night. Also, the rich texture actually makes me feel like its actually doing something for my perpetually dry skin.
Which leads me nicely onto my next point, if you suffer with any dry, flaky patches of skin, use this twice a day for like 1 or 2 days and they will be greatly minimised or gone, at least this was the case for me. I suffer with dryness and eczema on the face, and this is the only moisturiser I have tried so far that has actually done something to eradicate the flaky patches.
The packaging states that the cream contains Borage & Avocado oil, Echinacea, Beta-Carotene and Natural Vitamin E, all of which I assume are good for the skin, but I’m no expert. I love the smell of this product though, it smells like something you would find in a spa, that typical aromatherapy smell. Normally due to my skin being horrifically sensitive I like to steer well clear of fragranced products, but once again this moisturiser’s scent doesn’t affect my skin at all. Also, I like the fact its not too overpowering, its quite calming and light.
I also like the fact this moisturiser is an all in one product, rather than having to buy two separate creams for day & night, because as I said before its thick but its light so it goes well under make up and intensely moisturises overnight.
Overall, I cannot say enough good things about this moisturiser, I think the only think I would change about it is the size as its only 50ml, I feel like I need a massive tub of the stuff but I will be repurchasing when this runs out because its truly a game changer for me and my skin!

Alright product. Been using it for about 8 months now and it does the job. Especially in winter it leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. Would not recommend it for an oily skin if you wear it underneath your foundation. It leaves my skin quite oily after a few hours of wearing it in combination with make-up although I have a combination skin.
Overall it does not break me out. Shame it does not come in a tube which will be more hygienic.
I would purchases it again to use it in Winter.

I have never broken out so quickly from a product before! I used this moisturiser once and within 24 hours had at least a dozen pimples all over my face. I rarely break out quite so badly, but the combination of oils (especially the wheatgerm) was just a complete disaster for me sadly.
Apart from that this cream is fairly strongly scented, with a reasonably smooth texture that absorbs quickly. I would just urge anyone who is even slightly acne prone to patch test this before applying over the whole face!

Love, love, love this moisturiser! I have tried all sorts for my dry skin, I found my face started to flake during the day it was so bad.
I treated myself to the liz earle cleanser, toner and moisturiser that came with a free tinted moisturiser for €50 with free delivery to Ireland.
My skin is just amazing after using all these products for the last 3 weeks. I actually look forward to taking my make up off at night cause this moisturiser feels soooo lovely on my skin.
It seems quite think in the jar but its not on application, a little spreads a lot and it sinks straight in. It’s perfect under makeup also.
I will definitely repurchase again and again and I’m not even going to bother looking at other moisturiser as this is a great price point, lasts a long time and is full of good stuff….no chemicals!
I would highly recommend this to anyone whose skin is a bit parched and needs a nice glow. This definitely works. 10/10!!
