I bought this BB cream in Light this past summer, because I wanted something cheap to wear in the few months out of the year when I self-tan. It only comes in Light and Medium, and I was initially thinking of getting the Medium shade, but it’s a good thing I ended up getting Light, because it is pretty dark! (Being that I am quite pale, my “tan” shade is only NC25 or so, maybe NC30 at its darkest.) Whenever I have tried wearing this BB cream by itself, even when I am freshly tanned, it is a little too dark, but what is most noticeable is how orange it is! Therefore, I can only wear it mixed with a lighter foundation. I usually mix it with my Covergirl Trublend foundation in L2, which is a little pink for me, and can get a good color depending on how dark I am on any given day. I really wish this BB cream were less orange and more brown, or even green, for a more natural tanned look. However, if it’s the “liquid bronzer” look you want, this should meet your expectations.
As for the wear on its own, it does have a nice consistency, looks dewy, and feels light on the face. For someone with oily skin, like me, it needs to be set with a powder. When I’ve worn it without mixing with another foundation, with a powder on top, it wasn’t especially long-wearing, but then again, it doesn’t claim to be.
I specified that I would buy this product again, but only because it’s cheap enough that it works for the summer to mix with other foundations, or to use as a liquid bronzer year-round.
