Before you ask, why would I put such an overall high rating but not purchase this product again? Well, for $40 a pop, the extra things included in this kit are not as necessary as the duo brow powder itself. As stated, this kit comes with a brow brush, 4 eyebrow stencils, a duo brow powder, eyebrow wax, and nifty holder for the whole kit. Now, I will list the reason why I don’t use the rest of the kit:
-Stencils: Though it seems like a fun concept, I recommend that you go ahead and get your eyebrow shaped naturally. The stencils are not easy to use and its does not coordinate will face shape and sizes.
-Brow Brush: Many love the Anastasia brushes, but personally I find this brush too short to use. I have a longer version of this brush that I find easier to maneuver.
-Eyebrow Wax: I admit it, I have almost no eyebrows. So there is no use for me to tame hairs that aren’t there. But for those who were blessed with real eyebrow hair, I would go for the wax in the pencil form.
-Palette/Holder: I normally love the look of palettes, but with using dark powders in contrast to the white lining, it ends up looking dirty and I HATE that. In the future I just plan to buy the duo powder pot.
Back to the product! I normally pair this with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz. I use the Brow Wiz to shape my brows and use the powder to fill in the rest of my brows. Together they make my eyebrows look fleek and fabulous! Tip to beginners, I highly recommend you tap the excess off before gently applying the product on to your brows. As with applying brows, please be gentle and use smooth, short strokes to recreate brow hairs.

I love anastasia beverly hills brow products! I purchased this after I ran out of the brow wiz and I use it everday. I have the set in blonde. It is different than pictured above, they must have updated the case. I love it. It’s very cute and compact. I think this a great deal for your money too. The brush that comes with the kit is perfect and I haven’t had issues with fraying at all. I use both shades depending if I want a stronger or more natural brow. I’ve found that in the humidity or on hot summer days the brow wax kind of gets crumbly. The highlighter shades are very buttery and smooth. I recommend this product and will repurchase/refill

Warning: Cranky minority old lady review. You’ve been warned. This kit is ok — but I’m not sure it’s worth all the raves. Why? Firstly, The stencils all look weird on my perfectly normal face. None seem to come close to my natural arch and I find them awkward to use. But then again, I’m not hugely coordinated. There seems to be a gradiated choice between looking like a Muppet or Clara Bow. I just want natural, not overdone brows. Secondly, I’ve got medium warm toned skin and with (originally) jet black brows and lashes. I lost ALL my eyelashes to chemo and had to resort to drawing eyebrows on so small children would stop screaming. The dark colour made me look like a Woman of Walmart; the lighter just looked odd on my skin. I have a degree in art, so I knew to feather the strokes but it still looked harsh and really artficial. I ended up switching to Natio and combining it with Rimmel Brow pencils. I realise I’m probably old and hopeless, but all I wanted was natural looking brows, not Jersey Shore. One big plus though — the highlighting colours made EXCELLENT eyeshadow, the only reason I haven’t chucked this out completely.

Omg this eyebrow kit is amazing! I am in the shade brunette and the shade is just perfect for my skin and hair color! There are no brassy or red undertones like other eyebrow kits. Just a nice brown color. The stencils are really useful to shape your eyebrows; just tweeze the hairs outside the stencil and your done! However, I dont use the stencils to shade in my eyebrows because on a day to day basis I’m running late for everything and don’t have the time, so I just freehand my eyebrows in. Also, the angle brush it comes with is great because it is small and thin and I find it kind of acts as a pencil for precise and sharp application. I also love the highlight shades that come in the kit. Lastly, I have had this kit forever now, almost 6 months, and there is just a tiny dent in it and I use it everyday! So this product lasts very long and is worth the price. Will def. be repurchasing.

I love this kit! I am a little bit obsessed with eyebrows and have tried sooo many products. I was a little bit hesitant on getting this because I tried the Anastasia Brow Pen and was not a huge fan because it had red undertones in it. This is amazing though. I almost never use the wax and the highlighter because I already have tons of highlighters that I own and love and I find the wax makes my brush gunky and pulls off some of the powder underneath. Even so, the price is worth it for the stencil and the two eyebrow powder. I use the high arch and it gives me brows that I love. I mix the two colors but have probably used more of the lighter color. I said that I would not repurchase only because I only need one set of the stencils, so next time I would just get the brow powder by itself.

I’ve tried dozens upon dozens of brow products and this is by far the best brow powder I’ve ever used. I bought this kit when it was on Hautelook a long time ago and put it off to the side because it didn’t impress me much. I started using it about three months ago and my how my mind has changed! I first use a cheap NYC taupe pencil to lightly fill in my brows (mainly so the powder has something to stick to) and then I use the ash brown color and maybe a little bit of the darker brown at the ends if I want a stronger look.
When I run out of my powder, I’ll just skip this kit since I don’t use the wax or the highlighter. I actually ended up depotting both of the powders and attached a magnet to the bottom so I can put it in with my MAC ES palette.

I don’t have the exact kit shown in the picture above but nonetheless I love my brows now!!! I have the one that’d currently on sephora stores with the shimmery and matte eyeshadows along with the brow wax, duo brow powder (I’m in brunette), the 5 stencils as well as the angled brush. I used it every day and the brown is perfect for my Nc20/25 asian skin tone. not too dark or too reddish, which is perfect. I use the petite arch stencil to quickly shade in a general shape for my brows then freehand the rest. I like that you can fill in your arch on your own to decide where the highpoint is. I use the shimmery light pink eyeshadow in the kit as my inner corner highlight colour and the matte pink is perfect for blending some of my more dramatic pink and blue eyeshadow looks. all in all I’m so glad I bought this kit on a whim (aka uncontrolled makeup shopping spree). it was costly, I paid $55/56 CAD+tax for it but I’ve barely made a dent in the powder, wax and shadows and it’s been well over 4 months since I’ve had it. will buy again if I ever run out!

The brow shadow “Blonde 1” in this kit is what I’ve been using for my brows every single day that I’ve worn makeup since I got it, which was 3 years ago, and I still have some left = AMAZING value for money!
To quote juno104 below: my eyebrows are blond, thin and basically non-existent. You can’t really see them at all if I leave them natural. I have very fair skin and light blonde hair, so anything darker than blond just looks silly on me. This shade is just perfect! It’s my HG eyebrow shadow, to say the least.
However, the reason why I’m not giving it a 5 is because I don’t really like the other products in this kit. The “Blonde 2” shadow is too dark for me, the wax doesn’t hold my brows in place, I prefer other highligters, and I never use the stencils. I have tried the stencils, but I think they’re difficult to use and simply prefer to apply the shadow without using a stencil.
So, to sum it up: I’m in love with the “Blonde 1” shadow, and would repurchase this kit (only) if I couldn’t find that shade on its own. However, I don’t really like the other products in this kit, and since all I want is one of the shadows, this kit is definitely pricey!

This kit is beyond amazing!
I bought the blonde shade and the colors nice. I have pretty full brows to begin with, but the hairs are super blonde so it looks like I don’t have eyebrows at all, but when i use these powders my brows look so elegant and sophisticated. I really like the brush it came with but I’ve had this kit for a year now and the bristles have become very frayed, prolly from overuse 😉 The highlight is so beautiful too It works with any of my eyeshadows and I’m sad I used it all.
Anywho, It’s awesome, go buy it!
