This to me is a trusty, trusty polish. It’s one of those beauty products that I grew up watching my mum use, and then kind of instinctually reached for later. I hate to be one of those people, but I feel like the staying power used to be even better back in the day. Still, it’s a pretty long-lasting polish as far as drugstore ones go. I have one in a statement red that has been a go-to for me to use on my toe nails, and it basically doesn’t chip ever. Most of the time I’ll voluntarily remove it before it does. I guess Glossfinity replaced this line, though? Those I’m not as fond of. A kind of random feat is how incredibly long the formula stays good. I have it in a shade that I don’t reach for all that often, which means it’s been in my collection for years, and it’s still good whenever I break it out.

I have this product in 2 colours, Rose Petal and Golden Peach. They are both so beautiful, very well designed products with just the right amount of shimmer without being overpowering. They are colourful, but you can get away with wearing them at work too. I wear them with a base coat of Nails Inc Save the Nail and a Boots No7 top coat and then last 4-5days without chipping. I would highly recommend them. If you want to see the Rose Petal one I have pictures on my blog stellap08.blogspot.com (and no, I don’t get paid or get free products for the blog. I just put full reviews and pictures because I think people have the right to see them)

Why did this not work for me? I love their macaras and i love the shine and vibrant colour, but like a previous reviewer I got Disco Pink, and I’ve done this twice, and the second time even with a top coat, it still chipped within a day!! so annoying, I’m not one to pay 6quid for nailpolish and really wanted this to work! (other reviewers don’t seem to have the same problem but maybe it’s just this one colour)

I bought this prouduct in the colour No.113 Extra Frost. This colour is simply perfect for those who want a clear coat of polish but with added sparkle, without having to add a completely different type of over-sparkly polish on top. This product has given me ultra-shiny nails, with a subtle hint of glitter which makes them appear slightly lengthened. I saw it advertised in Cosmopolitan, and although the price is a lot more expensive than other products on the market, the amount of polish which comes off on the brush is more than adequate, even though the brush is very thin. The brush is very long, however the coverage is faultless, and even though it may be clear, I have no problems in creating a smooth coverage of polish on my nails. I team this polish with Rimmel London’s 5 in 1 Base & Top Coat Nail Polish (about £3 from Boots.) Absoloutely perfect combination, and absoloutely love the polish. I would definitely buy again.

For me this is a very lasting polish, in a range of OPI and Essie, can easily stay on for 5 days, which I consider a lot. Color palette is somewhat boring, I have it in Ruby Fruit and absolutely love this color.

I have it in 731 Redly Nightshade. 2 coats. Formula and brush are both thin, but easy to work with. Nice pigmentation, average dry time. Better than expected – has been on my toes for almost a week with no chipping whatsoever and still quite shiny (no top coat).

I’ve never bought Max Factor nail varnish before, but got this free as part of a set this weekend and I love it so much I felt compelled to write a review. The colour I have is Ruby Fruit, which is an absolutely stunning deep, glossy burgundy red. I have had several compliments on it already. It does need 2 coats to get this shade – 1 coat looks streaky and awful – but I always paint 2 coats anyway.
What really impresses me is, I’ve had it on all weekend without a single chip, which is more than can be said for my Nails Inc, Leighton Denny and Models Own polishes. I used Sally Hansen Insta Dry top coat, which is similar to Seche Vite and which I use with the other polish brands. I think Nailfinity is actually the hardest wearing polish I have ever used! Will definitely buy more.

Possibly the worst nailpolish i have ever owned. I bought the colour in Disco Pink. I put it on, before sleep… one hand with top coat and the other one without. In the morning the tips of my nails had already nailpolish missing on both hands. By the end of the day i took it off since it was starting to look horrendous. It started chipping and coming off after 12 hours??? Will never buy another nailpolish from that range…
