If I had to wear just one nail polish for the rest of my life, this would be the one. I would describe this colour as burgundy with shimmer (I’ve been staring at the shimmer for hours, but I am still not sure of its colour: pink? gold?), but whatever it is it gives this polish beautiful glow from within. The polish has almost a metallic finish to it.
Both application and wear time are impressive and if it is the same on all Lacome polishes, I will be getting more. The only disappointment for me is that Prune Reve was part of Limited Edition Holiday Collection, so I may never get the chance to replace it. I guess I better use it sparingly. It’s a classy stunner.
As an aside, I have always liked Sally Hansen Wine Not and Prune Reve, in my opinion, is like a more expensive and a better executed version of it.
