Pros:
1. Amazing packaging! It’s just so cool and fun.
2. The blushes and bronzer are wonderful. Great pigmentation and color pay off.
3. The palette packs a lot of product to last you for years.
4. Very generous mirror on the lid!
Cons:
1. It’s Nars. It’s bound to be expensive.
I got this on a discount ($10 off) from a trusted reseller. Even then, it is still quite expensive but it is, hands down, totally worth the splurge! No regrets whatsoever!

I LOVE this pallet. It’s everything you need in one. Bronzer, highlight, and blush. The blush colors are gorgeous and I even sometimes mix them. This pallet really is a great value since it has multiple products in one.

I really love this. The variety of blushes really caught my eye. The only problem is, I’m not a big fan of the highlighter as it’s very hard to put on the brush and there isn’t much shimmer in it. Overall, I love the compact side of it and I definitely recommend it for travelling.

I really love this palette. The contour colors work great with my skin tone and I sometimes prefer it over my contour specific palettes. The blush colors are great as well and the palette provides almost a full size each of the blush, bronzer, and contour pans. It’s super convenient and well worth the money.

I only own one Nars face product and it is a LE trio that contains Orgasm, Laguna and Albatross. I have wanted to try the Nars blushes but everytime there is a LE release it has included variations of these three shades which unfortunately didn’t wow me. I was really excited to see the Steven Klein pallet and jumped at the chance to purchase it because it didn’t include Orgasm and had Dolce Vita (a much raved about shade). I am a little shocked it did not sell out like its predecessors.
PROS:
– I think the packaging is beautiful and very artistic. The packaging is similar to last years in that there is an image with a thick plastic over it and the rubber is replaced with a matte plastic. There is also a huge mirror in the lid, a really great touch.
– I love the inclusion of the Paloma contour set. I find most of my “travel” face sets are always missing something but this is right on the money for my taste. The contour, bronzer and blushes all in a sturdy case are perfect for travel.
– The blush colour choices are of a fantastic range. Robotic is a typical light pink containing hints of micro glitter. Blasphemy is a typical light dusty rose with a slight shimmer. Luster is that now typical, due to the existence of oragasm, coral shade with a slight shimmer and frost. Dolce Vita is probably the most exciting colour being almost matte burnt pink.
CONS:
– besides Dolce Vita, I don’t find the blush colours to be exciting. I this maybe why its not as popular this year. I find Nars blushes to be overwhelming or blah… which is why I haven’t plunged into the singles. I wanted to be able to pull this out with the enthusiasm I get for Tarte Exposed, Mac Warmth of Coral, Mac Sincere or Benefit Rockateur; although, I don’t really think this is intended to individually wow.
This all being said, if I lost all of my makeup, I would purchase this again because I think this is a great basic in a beautiful package.

I am a sucker for the Nars blush palette each holiday season. I just love them. In my opinion, nobody does blush better than Nars. The only bad side of Nars blushes are the price. One blush can run you $30 and that can add up when you are a makeup addict such as myself. I find the holiday palettes are a good way to get a lot of product for a reasonable price. This year their blush/bronzer palette consists of one contour/highlighter, a bronzer, and 4 blushes for $69. This is a great deal when broken down. The blushes run slightly smaller than an individual blush at 0.12 oz instead of 0.16 oz but the bronzer is slightly bigger at 0.29 oz whereas the individual size is 0.28 oz. The palette consists of the following shades:
-Paloma: contour/highlighter, there is a matte cream shade for highlight and a medium matte brown with some slight red undertones for contour. Each shade is 0.12 oz.
-Laguna bronzer: bronze brown shade with a gold sheen to it. It’s not glittery but when compared to the Paloma contour, it’s much lighter in color and there is definitely a high luster finish, not glittery at all but when it catches the light, it looks shiny.
Robotic blush: a beautiful soft pink. There is a slight silver sheen to this but mostly just a lovely soft pink. This would be great for pale women with cool undertones.
Blasphemy: gorgeous pinky peach with a slight iridescent sheen.
Luster: peach blush with a gold sheen. It’s beautiful on the skin. It gives a lovely glow.
Dolce Vita: the most pigmented of the blushes, it’s a deep rose color with a slight gold shimmer.
Overall this is one of my favorite NARS palettes because the color selection is fantastic. I don’t have any of these blushes which is nice. A few years ago it seemed like every Nars palette had orgasm blush and I ended up with a lifetime supply. The packaging is sleek as well. I love the cover art. Steven Klein is a photographer and the cover art is very cool. Nars seems to be doing away with their signature black matte rubber packaging and going with plastic. I like the change. The palette is a good size and would be a great for traveling. I’m extremely happy with this palette.
