First off, I think the reason why I love this so much is because I have very fine and very oily hair that tangles easily. I think people with thick or dry hair or other people who need a lot of conditioner will not love this as much as me, especially the way I use it, so please keep that in mind.
I actually use this instead of regular conditioner. Even though I have long, highlighted hair, it seems to be enough, although I do often spray some It’s a 10 lite on the bottom third of my hair or use a heat protection spray if I blow dry (which is rarely).
Anyway, a few of things I love about this product:
1) It really detangles well, so it is easy to comb after showering
2) It has a very faint fragrance and doesn’t smell like chemicals (like It’s a 10) or yucky sweet like Not Your Mother’s Knotty To Nice Conditioning Detangler
3) There is a lot of product – 8 oz
4) Not too expensive
5) I think it does add shine, which is hard to achieve with highlighted blonde hair
6) Offers UV protection
Note: I am not sure how natural it really is since it seems to have silicone in it. Maybe it will be one of those things that hair gets used to and I won’t like it as much forever, but right now it is my HG conditioner!!!
The only thing that would make it better is if the pump were super easy like butter because my wrist bothers me sometimes with pumps, but that is more of an old person problem than a problem with the pump.

This spray-on, leave-in conditioner makes my short, curly, color-treated hair shiny and enhances the curl. It works nicely when my hair needs a little more moisturizing. It has a mild fragrance that I could do without. The sprayer is difficult to use. It requires a lot of energy to push it down.

Much too watered down, and the scent is a very lame sweet smell that I didn’t care for. Just not very effective. Packaging was really ugly, and the sprayer wasn’t great either.

This stuff makes my hair look smooth and shiny–for about 20 minutes. After that, my (fine, wavy) hair is just as flyaway as always. I tried using more, using less, using it on wet hair, using it on dry hair, using before heat styling, using after heat styling, but all with the same unimpressive results. It just doesn’t do much!

My fine hair is prone to breakage but can’t always handle regular conditioners since they tend to weigh my hair down. After having a particularly bad experience with a couple of shampoos that made my hair dry and tangled, I decided to try this since it seemed like it was perfect for my hair type based on the reviews. However, I find that even though I like the smell (reminds me of this apple pectin shampoo that they used to sell in the 80s), it does in fact weigh my hair down. By the end of the day it looks very limp and greasy. At first I thought maybe I was using too much so I tried using less, and I still have this problem. My hair looks thinner and it seems like there is a film on my hair. I will save this for days that I use a clarifying shampoo but overall it did not work for me.

This leave-in conditioner has become a stable in my hair care routine. It detangles my baby fine hair like no other, and while I do not consider it it the MOST hydrating, my hair always feels soft and shines when I use this. Another reason I love this product so much is because I can use it as it a hair refresher on days I don’t wash. The spray is so light that it wont weigh down my fine strands. It smells good and it’s super cheap at vitacost.com!

My HG. I’ve been using this for over 2 years and I am so grateful I found this product. My hair is one of my biggest beauty concerns, and this leave-in does such a great job at detangling, refreshing and softening my hair. My baby-thin, prone to being dry hair is left shiny and soft thanks to this wonderful product. This is the one product of Shi Kai that will always be in my bathroom and I will simply be lost if they discontinue this!

This has become my HG leave in conditioner. I have tried so many (Garnier, Pantene, Thermasilk, Aveda, etc.) and this stuff takes the cake! It gives my hair (chin-length/medium/straight/colored/highlighted) beautiful sheen without weighing it down at all. The smell is a very subtle, clean “shampoo” smell. I’m on my second bottle now. I bought the first one months ago (so long I cannot remember exactly) and used it almost daily so it is very economical considering it’s $8.99 a bottle.

This stuff is great. Light, non-greasy and smells good. Moisturizes your hair and provides heat and UV protection. Easy to use spray bottle that stores and travels well. My hair feels really soft after using it and the light scent has never overwhelmed my scent sensitive nose. I was a little hesitant to purchase it initially because having oily hair, I’m not particularly fond of leave-in conditioners. What sold me was the UV protection factor, so I decided to chance it and give it a try. I’m really glad I did. My hair never feels weighed down or coated in product and I spray it all over. Ingredient list is pretty good as well – mostly natural and the company doesn’t test on animals. Definitely a re-purchase for me when I run out!

I have fine soft hair that doesn’t need too much conditioning and this actually dried out my hair and made it break off. I think it’s the silicones in it which I am normally not too sensitive to.
