No animal testing! Lovely skin!
Got a sample of this…7 days using it morning & night have made my combo/acne-prone Mediterranean skin glowing, dewy, and blemish free. I haven’t needed to wear foundation…haven’t WANTED to, as I don’t want to cover up the lovely glow of my natural skin! It plumps up the tiny fine lines in my forehead, but I’m more excited about the overall appearance of the texture of my skin. My pores appear smaller, my skin looks finer and more radiant.
Multi-Wrinkle Repair smells faint & fresh and feels almost like a serum/moisturizer. I’ve never found a serum that didn’t break me out, so when I felt the consistency of this, my expectations were low. Comes in a perfect little pump that dispenses just enough for your face & neck to drink in a light layer. For years I’ve worn Neutrogena Ageless Intensives Anti Wrinkle Deep Wrinkle Night Cream, but I wanted to try a cruelty free, more natural option & 6 months ago I started using Alba Botanica (see my review) Even Advanced Night Cream – loved it. When I went back to Neutrogena for 2 weeks my skin lost its lustre. Started using Bare Escentuals Multi-Wrinkle Repair and I’m very pleased.
My mom asked yesterday why I wear foundation when my skin looks so beautiful without it. Shock. Let me say that my skin is NOT my strong point – mild discoloration from sun and I never stopped breaking out after my teens. My skin is fickle, and I’ve been doing different masks/treatments on it every other night for the past year after Lisa Eldridge recommended frequent masks. My skin definitely looks better as I get older. Lisa Eldridge has great advice!
$50 US is pretty steep for a 1 oz. moisturizer in my opinion, but it’s very effective so I might just splurge after finishing the sample.
I usually don’t post skin care reviews after just a few days use, but this one is so exciting! I’ll update if anything changes.

This lotion did not work for my sensitive skin, I’m glad that I only tried samples. I felt it too drying, and it broke my out rather badly on my forehead. Ugh. The texture is nice – a light cream, and it absorbs quickly. I don’t think it interfered with my makeup either. Honestly, I don’t have a lot of wrinkles yet and I didn’t test it long enough to really see if it helped with them, but it definitely does nothing for wrinkles instantly. Not bad, but not for sensitive, combo/dry skin.

This moisturizer is very lightweight, and applies smoothly and easily. The formula is supposedly meant to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and after using this for the past 7-8 months, I would say it does so, but only very slightly. I don’t notice a significant softening of my fine lines (particularly forehead lines), although I enjoy the texture of this. It doesn’t cause any irritation or breakouts and it’s a good base for my makeup.
