Colour Attract is a line of magnetic nail polishes by Avon. The magnet is not attaches to the bottle, as is the case with many other magnetic polishes, it is sold separately (there are few different designs available). I am not sure how many colours these polishes come in, I own Purple Prowess and Blue Attraction.
First off I was impressed with removable outter cap, designed to have more comfortable/secure hold, but my excitement was short lived, as when I went to put the outter cap back on, it cracked.
I applied 2 coats, using the magnet on the second coat, which I applied deliberately thickly before placing the magnet over the nail. As I had to hold the magnet for 10 secs, I did one nail at a time. The magnet I used was also from Avon (the wavey one), which has a little lip on it, designed to be rested on the finger to secure the magnet in one place.
As this was my first experience with magnetic polish I didn’t know what to expect. On couple of occasions I lowered the magnet too far, touching the surface of the polish or scraping the polish off as I was about to remove the magnet. Also, as my nails are very curved and the magnet is flat, I found the design was not created on the curved edges.
I am not sure if I will ever be a fan of magnetic polish, but I see myself using these again, mainly to improve on my first performance.
