Very pretty bold fire engine red. Essie polished are $8-9 which is expensive but I love the brushes and how smooth they apply so it’s worth it. This isn’t a special kind a red but it is a very nice red. Lasts a decent amount of time on my nails.

Beautiful neutral brightish red that doesn’t lean too far orange or too far blue. Application is perfect in terms of thickness and drying time; polish leaves no streaks.
I only have the mini polish from the wedding cube, but in the case that I ever run out of my (now HG) red polish, I will be sure to replace it.

A nice bright red. Pretty pretty. Opposite of Fishnet Stockings which is much darker red. Very nice addition to my collection.

This is a great starter jelly red– it’s saturated and rich and it’s not “too much” anything. It also doesn’t lean too far to pink or to orange so would work for a variety of skintones. It hits all the criteria for perfect staple red. The jelly finish means VNL will be hard to avoid, but it doesn’t bother me when it’s a red for some reason. Maybe because so many red polishes are jellies so I’m used to seeing it on other people? If I had to classify it, I’d say it’s cool toned but I don’t find it unflattering on my NC45 skintone. It’s not unique at all so if you’ve already found your HD red, you might pass on First Dance. Mine is China Glaze High Roller but I reach for this one when I need something more subdued. There’s not a thing wrong with this color.

Amazing just like all Essie….a gorgeous red from the 2011 wedding collection! Sally Hansen’s Diamonds and Rubies is a cheaper dupe if you are looking for something like it.
