I actually LOVE this concealer. It doesn’t crease on my eyes and it stays on all day and it’s pretty matte. I have medium/light olive colored skin tone, and I bought the lightest color for my under eyes and it’s magic! At first I thought, oh no… Wayyyy too light, but once you start blending it in and use it to highlight it’s great. I also use a light powered over it to finish the look.
The only con would be the sponge, but it’s not a deal breaker for me.

So I actually just got this product, but so far it seems awesome. High coverage, dries down matte, and the lightest color is a perfect match for me. But I just wanted to come share that the tube actually hides a squeeze nozzle!! If you don’t want to use the sponge (and it seems no one does), the top twists off below the shiny red portion to reveal a squeezy tube.
Thought everyone would like to know 🙂

I got this 70% off so my review may be biased, but I am really satisfied with this product. I am really, really pale in the face, with olive tones, so I picked the palest one (almost white) and I used it as a concealer for under my eyes, I then used loose powder on top, and it fits me like a glove and covers extremely well.
For the price, I really can’t complain. At first I was surprised how pale it was on my skin, but it turned out to be perfect. It does set quick though, so you need to act pretty quick..

This is such a hard product to review. I purchased this in “light” to go with Revlon CC cream. The consistency is really dry. So dry that it was really hard to blend and it tugged at my skin. Usually when a product does this, I will not use it again. However… the concealing effect was pretty amazing. This stuff really covers dark circles. I don’t suffer from dark circles regularly, but I had been working a few long shifts and needed some extra help and this certainly made me look as though I had a good nights sleep. For now, I will probably not repurchase because of the consistency of the product.

No way to test it. Fair 01 is like white. I like the concept. A tube with doe end formula seems good. I’ll be back after I swap out for a shade darker. The world of drug store cosmetics.

My Target had run out of the Maybelline Instant Rewind concealer that I have been loving for months. I bought the Revlon merely because it had a similar sponge tip on the end. I was severely disappointed in the Revlon. It’s very thick. Very thick. Too thick to use on my dark circles. It gunked up my contact lenses so horribly. I’m planning on saving this for my occasional hormonal acne but I will not use it again for my dark circles.

Love that the fair is a perfect match for my skin. Love the pigmented coverage. Thought I had hit a home run until I used it for a bit and broke out. Everything breaks me out any more, so this is likely a great product for fair skinned folks who don’t have overly sensitive skin.

Although this is marketed as a concealer for dark spots, I find this to be much better suited for covering my severe hereditary dark circles. It is by far the best concealer I have ever used for that purpose. I have very dry skin and fine lines under my eyes, but this does not settle into them, and it does not appear the least bit dry or cakey (much unlike many of the fifteen or so other concealers I have tried on my dark circles).
COVERAGE
The level of coverage is remarkable! Without concealer, my dark circles look like purple-ish streaks under the inner corners of my eyes, and are very noticeable. I was surprised at how well this concealer covers them up. I compared it next to MUFE’s Full Cover concealer and Kat Von D’s tattoo concealer, and it still provided better coverage than both of them. Very impressive.
CONSISTENCY
Unlike other full-coverage concealers I have used, this one does not feel or appear dry on the skin, nor is it too thick. I did not experience the purported level of dryness the previous reviewer mentioned, and I have DRY skin… most products are too dry for me, but this was not. This is very creamy, and instead of caking up or settling into my fine lines and accentuating my slightly bumpy skin texture under my eyes, it appears very natural and results in a very “skin-like” finish. I just dab on a *tiny* amount of setting powder (I use ELF HD powder) to set and mattify it, and it stays put all day.
PACKAGING
First off… the spongy applicator. It’s a horrendous design and it’s best to not use it. (Most built-in concealer applicator/brush combos are sub-standard compared to using a brush or fingertip, anyways.) Also, the color of the tubes is considerably lighter than the color of the concealer. I have fair skin, and judging by the color of the tubes, I thought that the medium color would be the perfect color for me, but it turned out to be far too dark and too warm-toned so I exchanged it for a lighter one. It would be nice if the product itself was visible through the packaging, or at least if the packaging was the exact same color as the product.
Overall, I give it a solid 5/5, despite the minor nuisances with the packaging.

Ths is the 3rd version that I have tried of Revlon’s Age Defying Concealer. Apart from the doe-foot applicator, I liked the 2nd version the best. This one is the worst so far, and has motivated me to look for a totally new replacement. First, the applicator is lame. The product gets gunked and dried up all over the useless, annoying and gross sponge ball thing on the tip, which I never use. I squeeze some product onto my fingertip and then pat on undereye area. Who thought that sponge thing was a good idea? Gimmicky and useless. I thought the doe foot applicator was bad, this reached new lows. Why do people feel the need to “improve” on the simple genuis of a basic squeeze tip? I see the photo for this product shows the sponge tip removed from the container. My sponge tip was stuck on and I could not remove it. Second, the formula, while having a very good amount of pigment and full coverage, is extremely dry and thick. It is difficult to spread, and is so thick and matte-pasty that it does not fill things in completely. I do not like patting for eons or tugging and pulling at my undereye area. Even though I get annoyed at schemes to make you buy more than one product, I actually broke down and bought the primer, thinking, maybe I am missing the key ingredient to a wonderful result. I wasn’t. The primer/filler did not help at all, and in fact seemed to make the concealer ball up and roll off. So, abt 12 for concealer, and the same for useless primer, thereby doubling the cost. And yes, of course I moisturize the undereye area 1st. Third, the Light Medium shade, which was PERFECT and wonderfully light-reflecting in the doe’s foot applicator version, was too dark, flat and orangey. Overall, not an improvement, Revlon. You took a good concealer and made it a poor one. I am now looking for a replacement, and since nothing in the current Revlon lineup looks like it could be a dupe for the 1st or 2nd versions of this concealer that I’ve used and liked, I am looking at other brands.
EDIT: Now I feel stupid – is the Age Defying or DNA Advantage Concealer w/ doe’s foot applicator dc’d or not? While I much prefer a squeeze tube the version w/ the doe’s foot applicator had a good, reliable formula. I couldn’t find the doe’s foot version at any of my local stores (CVS, RiteAid, Walgreen’s, Walmart, Target, etc.) but I just saw it on the Walgreen’s website. If the former version is stll out there I want to get that! I tried to access the Revlon website itself but it keeps crashing.
2nd EDIT: Another MUA’er reports that the doe’s foot applicator version is still up on the Revlon website, so it seems my inability to find it at any local store was perhaps due to a temporary or local supply problem. Also, I note that some reviewers here have commented that this sponge ball version is better at dark spots on the face. I have also tried it as a dark spot cover on the face, and while the dryness is not as much of a problem as it is under the eyes, I still felt it was too thick, pasty and dry, and I am very, very oily.

YES! This is my new HG concealer and under eye highlighter. It’s super pigmented so you need very little. I struggled at first with application techniques and have settled on using my E.L.F small stipple brush and it works fantastically. I bought this the lightest color and it truly is my lightest concealer to date.. (I’m a bit of a concealer junkie.) It does not settle into fine lines and I haven’t found it too drying either. I always moisturize with Cerave before foundation then ever so lightly set that with powder before applying my other new HG Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation. This concealer goes a top that and I set the concealer with finely milled powder and rosewater. This product is awesome!
