I think Lancome has changed this gloss since the last reviews. The staying power is amazing. This did last on my lips for most of the day without reapplying. It’s not sticky, which is a big plus. My problem is that there is now a scent to these. Mine smells like candy. I don’t like it. It reminds my husband of medicine. The other problem is this color. I’m medium with yellow skin tone and this color looks grey. I would probably buy this again in a warmer color if they got rid of the scent again.

Love the formula, the color, and the fact that there is no scent to this cream color gloss. I’m very fair and this is a terrific everyday wear kind of plum. It’s not too deep, it’s not too shiny and it is somewhat moisturizing. I like to wear it with Lancome’s Portelle liner. Another bonus is that it has staying power. Color-wise, it reminds me of when I use a favorite lip combination of MAC Plum lipliner all over the lips and then top it with VGV lipstick. This is worth the money and I would definintely re-purchase.

I love this line of longwearing lipglosses! It’s so longwearing, I never have to apply it more than twice a day. Since not all colors are locally available to me, I take a chance buying some colors online, sight-unseen. Plum Savvy is 1 of them.
I’m a certified plum nut & love to try all shades of purple lipcolor. But Plum Savvy isn’t any shade of purple, plum or grape – it’s a muted dusty pink & EXACTLY the color my natural liptone, so when I put this on I look like I’m wearing a glossy natural lip, but a bit more polished & sophisticated than clear gloss.
It’s a nice subtle color but I prob won’t buy it again, esp considering the exorbitant price of this product ($26.50). I’ll keep trying other shades though (I notice Lancome makes a LOT of different pinks)….
Lancome should have called this ‘rose’ instead of ‘plum.’
I love the packaging, the applicator, the creamy moisturizing formula, the sheerness & dimension of most of the shades, the glossiness, & the longwearing durability. I generally like a lot of Lancome products, though I find them ridiculously priced like YSL & Givenchy. But they put out good stuff that I like (& the sister-company L’Oreal products are also very similar but at affordable drugstore prices – love that also).

You know, I’ve never been much of a fan of Lancome’s products (except for a mattifying moisturizer that actually controlled oil, but has been discontinued, of course), but I must say, this gloss is actually long-wearing—for a gloss, that is. I have it in this shade, Plum Savvy, and also in Golden Sunshine, and I love them both. This is a soft, neutral, pink-mauve with a slight gold sparkle. It’s very feminine and very pretty. It lasts, oh, about 4 hours and actually stays glossy for that long. I love the applicator–it’s one of those flat, spongy type applicators that allows to coat your entire lips easily (take note, Bobbi Brown!) and it has no scent (I’m fragrance-averse when it comes to makeup). The only drawbacks are that it’s very sticky and will actually get a little stringy around the corners of my mouth about 15 minutes after applying, but it’s nothing that a napkin can’t take care of. The other slight drawback is that when it fades off, it leaves tiny specks of gold glitter around your mouth and on your lips. Again, not a deal-breaker. After all, it is long-wearing, right? I don’t like to spend a lot of money on lip gloss in particular, but you often get what you pay for, and I feel this is worth it. I am curious to try L’Oreal’s Infallible Lip Gloss and see if it’s the same formula! I would probably repurchase this, though–good stuff. UPDATE: I still think this is a good long-wearing gloss, but I just can’t move past how it gets stringy around the corners of my mouth, as I mentioned above. I gave it away to my flight attendant girlfriend who absolutely loves it.

This lip gloss has a nice plum color with a little bit of gold shimmer to it. Its not too sticky and the smell isn’t bad. This color isn’t too shiny…its not like a dazzleglass from mac. So if you are looking for subtle shine this color will work for you. The best part of the lip gloss in my opinion is the applicator. Its shaped like a tear drop making application easy. I purchased mine on the military base for $22 but I think it retails for $26. Its pricey but you don’t need to use much of it. I only need to apply once for my whole 6 hour shift for work!! I also have the lip gloss in cyber coral I will do a review for it later =)

It’s just beautiful for a day look. With lip liner it lasts a long time and gives you a polished look. It’s a natural plummy mauve that is flattering to most any skin tone. I dare you to try this and not fall in love with it.
