I’ve gotten a lot of use out of this product over the years. I tend to keep my hair brunette, and this is decent at masking some grays, but mostly I use it to add a bit of bulk and depth to my fine hair. It’s definitely better if you have dark brown hair, rather than a paler color of brown. If you shake it up well and apply it won’t be so powdery, and it doesn’t run for me if I sweat or get wet in the rain. It’s also a good refresher if hair gets too oily or too laden with product, when I don’t have time to wash and style it. It has a bit of fragrance to it, but not so strong as other brands, like Batiste, etc.

This dry shampoo is pretty good. Not too expensive, but not dirt cheap. The smell isn’t too great, but it’s bearable especially if you wear perfume. Works well on second/third day hair. I really like how it comes in a brunette shade, as some dry shampoos come out white on my dark hair, even if I spray from the distance you’re supposed to! The only downsides to this product are
1) The smell isn’t amazing.
2) I have to use a lot to get the oily-ness in my hair to go away.
I ended up going back to the cherry scented “Batiste” one, because they sold out of this at Ulta. I like both though, but I like this one more because it comes in a better brunette shade than the batiste one.

Eta: I have only seen this at Ulta.
HG dry shampoo…thank goodness I found something for brunettes…I have dark brown hair with caramel high lights. I’ve used batiste and psssst but those were heavy, made my hair feel crunchy, and I looked like I had dandruff no matter how much I brushed…just NO. And the scents were awful and strong!
This products scent is strong but I find it 99% more pleasant than the aforementioned brands. It zapped the oil without leaving my hair heavy and gritty or stiff. Of course, I FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS and did lots of can shaking and short bursts from the proper distance.
I didnt notice it “adding” color to my hair or scalp but I was in a hurry (hence using dry shampoo), however, when I took a shower later and used q-tips to clean my ears I noticed some brown makeup-like stuff coming off of my ears.
But I love it. It’s just what I need. I like my hair flat and straight and it’s not like that naturally, so this gives me the oil zapping without the “product volume”.
I try only to wash my hair every 3-4 days bc I used to be platinum blonde (from naturally almost black) so much of my hair is damaged and I want to wash and straighten it as little as possible.

Use this almost every other day.
Makes my hair not oily.
Makes my hair smell good.
Easy to use.

I bought this last night at CVS. I just got my hair colored and also have very thin hair that has a tendency to get oily. I usually have to wash my hair everyday but don’t want to wash my new color out, sooooo I bought this dry clear shapoo, it kicks butt!!!!! Just a few spray and the oil is gone and my hair has great texture and is still shiny!
perfect!

***A BIG help to hide thinning hair*** I always have to use dry shampoo because my hair is so fine, even a lick of oil makes it weigh down and appear thinner, so my scalp shows thru (nice, eh?). THIS is my miracle solution. It takes just 3-4 short bursts total (on my temples and behind my hairline/at crown). I brush it through, gel or mousse it, and voila = instant thickness and volume. And no bald spots. HIGHLY recommended! BTW, I’ve found this only at ULTA & I buy 2 or 3 cans at a time to make sure I never run out. I use the brunette shades spray, and it is 100x better than Bumble & Bumble, and only $7.99. You can get 3 cans of this stuff vs. one of the sh*** B&B. It lasts awhile & I have not found any problems with it getting allover, or the nozzle clogging, or the the scent (which is a clean scent BTW). Remember a little goes a long way. Will ABSOLUTELY buy again~ THIS will ALWAYS be in my cabinet!

I’m always on a search for a good dry shampoo and have tried several different ones. One problem with them, whether I liked it or not, was that the white sprays would show up on my black hair. I picked up this one on a trip visiting a friend and I loved it! It did a good job of soaking up oil and gave my hair volume on those days when I was in a rush. I didn’t have any problems with it getting everywhere in the bathroom after I sprayed it and the can never clogged.
Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find the brunette shade around town (even though I’ve tried 5 or so different stores), and finally purchased the salon grafix invisible dry shampoo and was not impressed. I’ll just have to wait till I go see my friend again to stock up on this.
*added note
I have tried the salon grafix invisible dry shampoo and was really disappointed in it, but I still like the brunette dry shampoo.

I like this product even though it’s expensive for the size of the spray can; the brunette color does is too light for my shade of dark brown.
I have hair extensions and I do not like to have to wash my hair every day (washing your hair/weave daily causes the weave to become too loose, too fast). The dry shampoo effect will last for about two days – just be sure to be careful when you spray near your temples, I found the “brunette” color in my ears which made them look very dirty.

Want volume? Get this and tag team it with a little teasing and a great aerosol hairspray–super volume guaranteed! It’s great because it soaks up extra oil at your roots that causes your hair (well, my hair at least) to get shiny and flat. It really works! I have to say though, this isn’t for everyone, especially if you don’t like the way product feels in your hair. This gives you a gritty texture that’s awesome for styling, but not so good if you’re not used to it. I didn’t have any trouble with the color getting anywhere or the nozzle leaking like some people said. The directions say to spray in short spurts to avoid the problem. Oh, and the smell isn’t horrible, but it’s STRONG. Whew! Minus one lippie for that.

This works great. I am on day 3 of not washing and not a lick of oil. I tried T3 and Oscar Blondi’s dry shampoos. Oscar Blondi’s did not work at all and it left a white residue. T3 worked almost as well as Salon Grafix, but it was $25 for less product!! This a fantastic product. I hope it stays on shelves because it saves me so much time and keeps me from stripping my hair of moisture by everyday washing. Definitely try it!
