This is a pretty decent makeup setting spray and the cost is about the same or less than other drugstore setting sprays. The only difference is that when you spray you actually get a nice light mist out of this can unlike other makeup setting sprays where you get unpleasant droplets. It soaks right in to a demi matte finish. It made My makeup last all day and did not give my skin a negative reaction. HOWEVER, like the reviewer before me stated…it’s probably not the best makeup setter for oily prone skin. My skin is combo to oily and despite it setting my makeup nicely, I did find that my forehead and cheeks were a bit oily a few hours later..since it has some hydrating ingredients in it that would more than likely be why. I usually tend to get setters that say “mattyfying” or “oil absorbing” coz that’s my better bet for my skin type. Soo that sucks for me on that predicament with this product..so I personally don’t think that I will be repurchasing. But if you have normal to dry skin I would highly recommend this product as it is very similar to some high end setting sprays without the hefty price tag

This setting spray is so good! I’m surprised that more people don’t know about it. It’s similar to MAC FixPlus, but less expensive. The mist is so fine it leaves no big droplets of liquid in your face (I’m looking at you cheap setting sprays!). It has made my makeup not only last through an 8hr work day, but also going to the gym after work. Amazing!

Look, I love me some Fix +. I love the smell, the feel, the way my face looks luminous… I hate the price; $23?! Really, MAC?? I only wish my salary rose as much as cosmetic prices over the years.
My face is dry, like peri menopausal dry. I’ve never had oily skin or acne, but before you slap me know this: the fine lines are cropping up faster than a strip mall in Florida. You oily skinned gals ( and guys) are going to be forever young, so shut it.
Where am I going with this?? Oh, yeah, I need glycerin. I need moisture. Sometimes I don’t have almost $25 to spend on a dang makeup setting spray. This item delivers, and for only $6? Yes please.
Oily girls, this is NOT for you; it is filled with occlusives and thus would be a breakout in the making. Glycerin, water, fruit extracts of some design ( why are they making the print so small on these things?!) and other various oils. It does not contain mineral oil or parabens, which for the price point is impressive. This is sold exclusively at Sally Beauty Supply, and it does keep makeup looking fresh all day with a few sprays ( for best results spray 6-8 inches away; I’ve learned this the hard way.)
With my disgustingly dehydrated leather face a little goes a long way, so you won’t need much to keep from looking powdery and cake faced ( so 1990 something.)
I don’t know about animal testing ; the label ( from what I could read anyway) didn’t specify. So, yeah, go try it on for size. I’m using it in conjunction with my Fix so I don’t go through the expensive stuff too quickly.
