I was wandering around the drug store and caught sight of this and thought why not – it’s super cute and was crazy cheap at £3.50. I had zero expectations for it to be honest, but I’m so pleasantly surprised because actually it’s a fantastic product!
The Pro Glow looks very reminiscent of Too Faced’s Pink Leopard Blushing Bronzer, but whilst Too Faced’s PLBB is listed as a bronzer, Pro Glow is listed under Freedom’s “Strobe and Contour” selection. There are four available shade combinations – I went with Meow as I’m mega pale and it seemed as though that shade combo would be the least likely to overwhelm my complexion… and honestly it’s perfect. For me it works as a combined blush contour, and the colour (or combination thereof) is just spot on – SO natural and gorgeous. There is a super subtle pearl in the formulation, and on the skin it just gives a perfect dewey glow – not glittery at all, just your skin on a perfect day.
I might have to pick up the other shades and play around with them because I’ve been so impressed.
As for the particulars:
The case is simple – black base, clear top so you can see the cute leopard print of the powder, and despite feeling pretty light the clasp is very secure. The powder is quite pigmented and feels finely milled and easy to control and work with. Price? Pretty ridiculous considering how great the product is. Repurchase? Yup! Truly nothing bad I can say about it!
