I bought this about 10 years ago on a whim and have never finished the tube. The texture is nice, but it is too shimmery for my liking and also I find that the colour is too pale for me with my pale skin. I find that it washes me out. My fav nudes are Clinique’s tenderheart and MAC’s kinda sexy.

Interestingly, my taste in lipstick has completely changed as of late and now I absolutely love this shade on me. It has become my go to daily lipstick this past summer. I think when I initially purchased this lipstick many years ago, I was into more bold lipstick colours – red and plum. I also had brown hair back then, now I dye my hair dirty blonde, Anyway, now that I have done a full-fledged transition to nudes, I love Nude 862. I usually prefer mattes, but this is such a pretty subtle pink, almost translucent. It’s a very pretty shade and I would recommend it to pale cool-toned blondes like me.

I love this color! It’s my go-to nude lippie…it’s great for everday wear and the texture is superb.:) it’s great for all make-up looks, day or night wear.:D

This color looks beautiful, whether you’re doing the smokey or natural look. Its very creamy and has great color payoff. It won’t wash you out, and doesn’t need layering of other products. On occasion I do go over it with different colored sheer glosses, i love it. I have yet to find a person that this color doesn’t look good on.

I love this lipstick because it’s not a concealer nude, a pornstar nude, or a corpsey nude, it’s just a pretty, classy nude. It really pulls a look together. The texture is great, and it lasts a lot longer than most other lipsticks with a sheen do on me. This is most definitely a HG.

One of my favorite lipsticks. Very natural, but more of a pinky nude. Perfect for work, goes great with most makeup. Love the consistency; very creamy and smooth. Will repurchase!

This is one of my favorites. I love nudes that are more on the natural side rather than the ones that make you’re lips look skin toned. This lipstick is moisturising an very wearable for everyday. The downside is the smell. To me it smells like an elderly lady perfume. The reason I did’nt rate it a 5 is that it’s not very exciting. I mean I have tried so many lipsticks before I found a couple that work, but I think MAC’s viva glam v has the same wearability but with a bit more spice (due to the shimmer it has).

This lipstick is really good. it is a nude color but depends on what color lips you have. my lips are naturally really red. when i put it on it’s not entirely NUDE. but it gives a mauve-y pink look to my lip and i really like it. it goes great with my brown eyeshadow i always wear. and it is SUPER moisturizing. it feels like a lip balm. love love love this lipstick and will buy more from the range. i also have pink lady =)

I really love this lipstick ! This one, Nude, and Fairest Nude are my two favorite L’oreal l/s’s. (Fairest Nude is pretty much like Nude except there is no pink in it.) I love to wear this with Mac Spirited lipglass (my HG gloss) over it. It gives me the perfect neutral lip color to wear with just about any eyeshadow. It’s not a light true nude lip color, but it is very very neutral. The Spirited just makes it look awesome. I love it!

I purchased this product from CVS’ infamous 75% clearance sale yesterday and it has been wonderful! The color may seem deceiving just by appearance because to me, it looked too ‘colorful’ to be considered a nude color (and the color of the stick is not ugly or anything, it’s just not something you’d expect a nude lipstick to look like).
Likes: texture (moisturizing, creamy, easy application), color (sheer nude that has a little bit of your natural lip color undertone so it will not make you look ghostly), packaging, and the price (but that is because of the sale, of course.)
Dislikes: scent (it is not too strong but the little that you can smell smells kind of ..cheap of you know what I mean)
Overall: I would recommend this to anyone who are looking for a nude shade that could be worn everyday. As someone with naturally pigmented lip, I really appreciate this color which kind of tones down my natural lip just a bit but not to the point where I look like I’m wearing a concealer on my lips!

This color is nice although it isn’t what I consider nude. It’s a little too pink for me. I like the creamy texture but lasting power is just ok.
I will definitely try other lipsticks in this line but I’m still on the search for the perfect natural nude.
