Autumn Spice is a brown shimmer polish. Parfumerie is a scented range of polishes. I didn’t love the scent, but I found it inoffensive. In the bottle the shimmer looks really exciting – shifting from bronze to red. Unfortunately, on the nail the shimmer shift can only be seen under very bright light.
The formula was good. I used 2 coats, but I think this polish could have passed as a one-coater with careful application. I had no problems with drying time or wear time.
I paid £1 for this polish, so I would class it as a good value for money. However, I would not go out of my way to repurchase it.

I have to admit I don’t care about the scented gimmick of these polishes; I just bought this because I thought the color was pretty. I will say that it is in fact scented, and it’s pretty noticeable if you have your hands anywhere near your face. This smells kind of like a bitter cinnamon potpourri to me. It doesn’t smell bad, but it’s nothing special either. This color was easy to apply in two coats and dried quickly, but I thought it looked a lot better in the bottle. It doesn’t look nearly as shimmery on the nail. Since I love browns I still like it though. Wear time was just kind of average – I used my best base coat and it still chipped a good bit before I removed it. This is a very nice color for fall and I’m glad I bought it, it just didn’t impress me as much as I hoped it would.

I bought a few of the Parfumerie polishes when they were first launched. This is the cream of that crop.
The colour is a glorious cinnamon burgundy-brown with tiny orange and golden shimmers. That description doesn’t do it justice, it’s entrancing in the sun and is multidimensional and beautiful. The scent is a cinnamon-based scent to match the colour with hints of cocoa. It’s the nicest of the scents I’ve tried, aside from the red one that smells of berries, considering the Violet one smelt of grandma soap, and Espresso smelled of rancid garbage bags.
Wear time was good, as I use a base coat and pedantically apply two to three thin layers, then a top coat. This chipped the least out of the ones I tried, the others are all delegated to toe polishes, particularly the Violet and the currant red one, except for Espresso which I couldn’t stand the smell of.

Autumn Spice is a semi-matte chocolate polish, with a orange/gold shimmer. For the Perfumerie range when the polish dries it gives off a mild fragrance that matches the shade name; in Autumn Spice’s case I think the scent is supposed to be chai spices.
The polish formula is nicely pigmented – it is very nearly a one coater on me. There are one or two thinner spots left after one coat that I need to level off, but someone who is better at painting their nails then me (most people) could probably get away with one coat. As the polish is semi-matte it does chip faster in comparison to a more glossy polish which is a downer, but matte polishes from every brand out there have the same problem for me, so it is something that I’ve just gotten used to.
I’ve removed a lippie as the scent of this polish is the main marketing/selling point for the Perfumerie range, and Autumn Spice has both the weakest and most artifial-smelling scent out of the eight Perfumerie polishes I own. The fragrance lasts for a few days and using a topcoat doesn’t mask it, so there’s no escape. It’s weak enough for me to be able to ignore it most of the time as I love the colour, but is a bit sickly and does lessen my love for this polish.

The colour is okay and has been well described in the other reviews. Bottle is cute, perfect for the boudoir! However, the smell! Horrible cloying sweet smell that you get wafts of throughout the day. I would not repurchase. I also have another one in this range called Italian Leather. A sort of greeny grey but no discernable aroma which is fine by me. I am always on the lookout for new products but I think I was just on a quest to buy SOMETHING when I bought these. Why would I want perfume on my fingertips? Even if it was the most luscious smelling perfume ever, it is still a weird concept!

OMG I am so smitten with all of these polishes! Autumn Spice is my favorite that I have purchased so far because of the rich, chocolate color and gorgeous sparkles. The scent is a very subtle, warm scent that lasts for two or three days. Cannot wait to get more of them . . .

I love the scent on this one. On me, it’s a chocolate/spice mix, like cocoa with cinnamon and nutmeg in it. The color is also such a rich, sparkling brown/orange that it’s a perfect example of it’s namesake. Will repurchase if it’s available when this bottle runs out

Autumn Spice is a beautiful cinnamon colored polish from the Parfumerie line. This shade is a really pretty burgandy red leaning brown with golden sparkles. In the sunlight the gold sparkles really comes alive and the color dances like flames. Soooo beautiful! These are packaged in a cute square glass bottle that look like bottles of parfum with little ball topped stoppers. These have a small square footprint and nest together so well and store neatly. The handle on this is short so it gives a better control and precision when painting. Although this is a mini sized brush, the brush itself is the usual length and while thin, it is flexible and applies polish well enough. This does work better than a usual mini brush. The polish applies opaque in only 1 coat, but I had a couple of patchy spots that needed a second coat so I just did them all with 2 coats though it probably wouldn’t have been necessary had I been more precise with the first coat. This wears well and I have had this on for 5 days now and it has barely any tip wear and not a single chip. This dries matte though so the sparkles are lost until you add some top coat. My only complaint, sadly it’s the selling feature of this pretty polish and that is the perfume scent. I expected this to smell cinnamony, or like clove, ginger, or nutmeg, but all it had was a sweet chemical perfume scent but not really any smell to it that was distinctive. For 5 days I could smell the chemically perfume scent and I am not a fan. In my sleep I kept smelling it and it was bothering me. I even top coated it to try to cover it up some without success. So I love the polish and the color and the wear on this. but the scent is a big turn off for me. I’d probably not buy this again just for that reason. It did not give me a headache or cause any medical issues, but it was simply annoying whenever I got my hands near my face and I could smell it. Love the color, hate the odor.
