when I had long hair, I really didnt find this stuff was any good. apparently my long hair was too heavy to lift up the roots. Now that my hair is short, I quite like this mousse! It has a strong smell, and that fragrance stays around for a long time, so make sure you like it! it seems like a synthetic apple fragrance.
That said, this mousse is very luxurious, just like the Sweet Synthetic Green tea. This one is a silky blend of powerfull apple to juice, plus all the ingredients.
Shall we not discuss this one? If you like deep, aromatic aromas, as it is offering tons of fresh and feeling sweet for you, here’s some much better tasting right now. The scent gets stronger and thicker, and it soon gets refreshing.
Short tempered scent is too sweet and doesn’t for me I think was good for the quality of the mousse, but to me I felt much better as far as smell goes. I am very satisfied with this mousse, it is a sweet, moisturizing touch, and will continue to be the best so far.

I absolutely love Back to Basics Root Boost. I have baby fine hair, pin straight hair. I spray this on my roots and rub in, scrunching it through the rest of my hair. I use a large tooth comb to make sure the product is combed through evenly. This is the only mousse that actually gives me volume and hold, without stiffness or crunchiness! I blow dry my hair upside down for extra body, and just curl the ends from my ears down, for the tousled look. Because this product works so well, I only use this root lifting mousse, with hairspray. I have stopped using 79 products at the same time trying to get body and life into my hair. This in the long run has made my hair healthier! HG status for me girls ♥=Aate & Anita Oh!
