This product provides average coverage and evens out the skin tone. But, this product also made me break out, which virtually never happens; I am not prone to acne! I immediately disposed of this bronzer. Also, the packaging is a nightmare. The filter at the top of the bottle never lets enough product into the brush. As a result, I had to shake the bottle a lot to release the powder. Ultimately, it is very ineffective.

Yes, the brush is crap. With bronzer, you need a nice soft, fluffy brush to get it to look natural. This brush is scratchy and not fluffy at all.
I may have to save this for night time, if I wear it at all. It’s wa-a-a-a-y to glittery, to where I can see glitter speckles on my face. Too bad, I wanted to like it, since P.F. has excellent face powders and bronzers.
This was $2.xx at CVS 75% off clearance.

I’m reviewing the Mineral Wear Talc-Free Bronzing Veil – Light Bronzer.
Even though it’s January, I’m already thinking about what bronzer I’ll be using this spring on my pale, NW15 skin. I need something very light, very subtle to give me a hint of color. Nothing to make me look obviously tanned, just something delicate to cut the whiteness of my skin. I found this 75% off at CVS and decided to give it a try! Here’s what I think:
Packaging: BAD. The brush is tiny and very scratchy. Immediately I transferred the powder to a recycled NYC powder jar with sifter, where I’ll use it with my own brushes. The packaging is bad enough that I wouldn’t recommend this bronzer to anyone who didn’t have a backup container.
Color: Decent for pale, warm-toned gals. This bronze is a matte peachy bronze and goes on pretty sheer. I did one pass with it and it gave me a soft, warm finish that looks pretty believable. However, it’s not ideal for my neutral-cool skin tone because it’s too peachy, a color that’s too yellow and peach when compared with my neck and body’s undertones. But honestly, I have that problem with most HE bronzers so anyone wanting a subtle, light-toned bronzer for pale WARM skin would probably like this.
Durability: it seems to be holding up well overtop my foundation and powder.
Quantity: 0.58 oz/ 16.5g. This is a LOT of powder! You get your money’s worth.
Overall: Generally recommendable if you overlook and can work around the packaging and you are pale and looking for a warm-toned, sheer, matte bronzer.

I really find this to be a horrible product. The brush for one is very, very bad. If you use the hard, cheap brush that’s attached to the product, you’ll end up with blotchy un-even skin. If you unscrew the cap and brush you end up with a huge mess. For me it’s not worth dealing with the mess or the crummy brush.

This is SUCH an aful product!!! I have super light skin (NC 20) and no matter how much I layered on, you could barely see this product. It does not come out of the brush evenly at all. I do NOT recommend!

This is the only bronzing type powder I’ve ever used & I LOVE it. You can make it as light or dark as you need. The brush is so-so but for as light as I use, it works for me. And to be honest with you, I think most brushes that come with any product are going to be less than great. I mean, you’re buying the product, not a high quality brush. A friend of mine actually taps out a little of this powder into a small dish & uses her expensive brush to apply it. So, if you want a great bronzer this is a great one to try.

It makes my skin look like i got a nice fresh perfect tan on my face! it makes it look the way i do during the summer because during the winter my skin becomes a little lighter.
And i use it during the summer too! gives me a sun kissed face 24/7 and my skin doesn’t look too oily or too fake! so it’s great, plus my pores breathe good through it.
And picking shades is great, i usually end up with a shade too dark or too light but with this product is surprisingly easy!

horrible. it causes a lot of mess, and the brush is very horrible, along with the bronzer its self. I won’t repurchase.
