I absolutely love Gucci blushes! Actually all the powder products are great quality and I have the blush in Spring Rose and also Soft Peach. Both are lovely and apply very nicely on the skin regardless of skin type. It’s finally milled and blends into the skin without leaving hard lines and provides a natural color to the checks. It’s Gucci so of course it’s going to be priced higher because it’s a luxury brand however the product does make the price worth it. This is my HG blush.

It’s not that I hate this or there’s huge problems with it… it’s just very underwhelming. I expected more given the $49.00 price (0.14oz/4.25g) and the Gucci brand. The color isn’t very unique and while the texture is lovely it wasn’t any more impressive than Chanel, Dior, Armani, and other high end brands with a slightly lower price point.
This is a soft, neutral, light rosy pink nude with a satin finish. Very flattering for my NW5-10 skin. There’s some extremely fine silvery shimmer scattered throughout but it doesn’t show up on my skin. It has a natural tone that matches anything and doesn’t look obvious. Despite the sheer description, it’s actually pretty pigmented. I had no trouble getting a true to pan color on my cheeks and it felt silky, soft, and blended well. It’s definitely a really nice quality blush.
But the color is almost a dead ringer for a few other colors I already own. Sunday Riley Blush in Blushing is almost an exact match ($30.00 for 0.1oz/3g.); Chanel Rose Ecrin is also very close just a touch rosier ($45.00 for 0.21oz/6g); Dior’s My Rose is a little more shimmery and slightly pinker ($42.00 for 0.24oz/7g).
Given that I have similar colors, this is going back to Neiman’s. But I do like the quality and think I’d like to try a different color, maybe the Soft Peach, which caught my eye when I saw online swatches.
